Mission Statement: To provide our customers with the highest quality manufactured footwear at the best value. About Us: Hypard Trading Corporation, a California Corporation since 1981, has sold more than 30 million pairs of footwear in the United States. We specialize in all types of footwear including Work Boots, Hunting Boots, Logger Boots, Safety Boots, Hiker Boots, Uniform Shoes, Water Shoes and much more under our Brands. The Hunter boot is a classic Baffin Canadian made product that continues to satisfy. A removable inner boot and Rubber construction give this boot a -40 degree Fahrenheit rating for the coldest days P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); Twenty-five years ago Baffin Footwear began manufacturing moulded insulated and non-insulated footwear products. While traditional moulded boots are suitable for some conditions they are not ideal for cold temperatures. Baffin combines leading molding technology with a foam-based inner boot system, which creates a hybrid style of high performance footwear. This equates to more warmth, better fit, and superior comfort. Baffin uses an unrivalled 8-layer combination of materials that is used in their boots that are rated to -148 degree fahrenheit temperature range. Baffin boots are different to most shoes and work boots because the sole and midsole is moulded to the base in one continuous process. The sole itself is a marvel of modern engineering because it is made up of several advanced thermo-set polymers that are combined together to achieve the right balance of warmth, protection, low weight and grip. This in combination with a Polymech foam removable lining system and innovative Timberwolf leather and Diamond-Lite insulated nylon uppers, creates a relentless focus on perfect boots and winter shoes. Baffin is dedicated to offering boots with functionality and fashion while still maintaining our legendary performance. See more

Sizing is actually correct, people!
I am baffled by the reviews I read for these boots. First of all, they are fantastic. I am replacing a 20 year old pair of Lacrosse boots that were made for cold winter weather, and unlike most reviews I read, I found these to be much lighter and comfortable to walk in.But let's get to the really baffling issue here: size. At first I was convinced the majority of people commenting on how LARGE these boots are were smoking something that fogged their brains. I wear a size 11 and after reading all the reviews, I took a risk and ordered a size 10. Everyone seems convinced these boots run "3 sizes too big!" Not true. I wish I had ordered my size. The size 10 does fit, but my toe is almost right to the end, so if I put on my thick winter socks they may not fit. So I may need to send them back and order my real size after all!So where in the world are all these crazy reviews coming from saying they are HUGE??? I have a theory... these boots are made for winter, COLD winter... like ice and snow. There is a nice thick liner that goes inside the rubber boot. Yes, it is removeable. No, you are NOT supposed to wear the boots without it. One reviewer mentioned he was from SAN FRANCISCO. What the heck is anyone farther south than Michigan doing with these boots? That would be waaaaay too hot! You guys in the south have no business buying WINTER boots like this. I'm guessing people are removing the thick liner and then whining about how huge the boots are. Duh! (I'm seriously shaking my head over here.) I've included pictures of the thick liner removed. I will be buying a separate pair of NON-insulated boots for the summer months. I will not wear these boots in weather warmer than 32 degrees.Summary: These feel like very cozy, comfortable boots for a good price. They will keep your feet warm in very cold weather, although the other Baffins are rated for the coldest weather, so if you're going to subzero Alaska I would get the even warmer ones.I also included a picture of the size 10 boot next to my size 11 running shoes for comparison. See... not nearly as huge a people keep saying.Cheers!

Baffin Boots don't hold up to farm chores!
I purchased these boots on July 31, 2017. By the middle of September of 2017, both boots were full of holes so bad that when I washed them off, my socks get wet. Less than 6 weeks of wear is totally unacceptable. I wear the boots in the barn approximately two hours per day. The holes are in front of my ankle, and the heels have significant wear as well. This is my second pair that has worn out quickly. I thought the first pair was a fluke. I am including a photo of both pairs of boots side by side. You can tell by the label which pair is newer.

Baffins help me keep all my toes.
Baffins makes great boots. I have these and a pair of the "granite".Something to know about Baffins is the sizes run a little large, even with wool socks. They are waterproof and significantly better than the cold and soggy "mucks hunter boots" i bought last year. (Those are garbage.)These baffins have great traction on ice and although the liner is thin it has a heat reflecting material. It was -17°F this morning. I was outside for 6 hours and my feet were cozy. The one thing i don't like is the draw string. Walking and working causes the knot to loosen a little but it's easily remedied with an elastic string similar to those found in coats. Or Just put on some bibs or chainsaw chaps on and cover the tops so sawdust and snow doesn't get in there. Still well worth the money.

Excellent for intended Use
Having previously been on a small boat in Alaska in the Spring before when there is a DEFINITE need for rain boots for wilderness landings, I purchased these for a similar trip early next Spring. These are far better than those previously purchased (adequate rain boots and clunky and take up much packing space, so like most visitors, we "donated" our previous boots for travelers later in the season). The secure tie at the top is a definite plus as are the warm liners. I followed the recommendation of prior reviews and purchased a size 10 (I wear a size 11.5 US), and with the liner, they are snug but comfy. Without the liner, these boots are capacious and can comfortably accommodate a flexible ankle brace or an extra pair of socks. For this trip, these are an excellent value purchase.

Great for the price! Go down a size.
For $15 these are great. I definitely got down a size. I'm an 11 in most other shoes. Sometimes 11.5. The 10 in these with regular cotton socks fits perfect. I'm tall and skinny and there's plenty of room in the ankle and calf area. A bigger calf would easily fit and I'd probably like them 1 star more if they were a tad narrower. But the price and frequency for which I'll wear these are great. The lining is warm. I could likely put on a wool sock and be fine on colder temps. I like the draw string at the top. The are sturdy and thick. Each boot is about 2.5 lbs when I weighed them. A tad heavy but not too bad.Took two comparison pics. One with a size 11 boot and one with a size 11.5 pair of Vans. Both about the same as these 10's. Going down a size is highly recommended.

Comfortable, well made, and extremely serviceable
This is my 6th Baffin Hunter pair of boots: Fir sheer convenience, I always have two pair at a time - one pair by the back door, and another in the basement by the door to the garage. The fit is a bit large - which is great as one can wear a couple of pair of socks, if desired. The boots are well made, comfortable, have decent arch space, and keep your feet warm and dry in the coldest and wettest of weathers - and they last a long, time.Obviously, I am a fan if these boots.

Larger than given size.
Definitely larger than the size indicates. I ordered size 6.5 UK and the are about 8. The quality looks fine but I have yet to wear them.

Fit is perfect with my extra pair of wool socks on
For most winter boots I order a size larger. Reading the other reviews made me pick a size smaller (10) than my shoes (11). Fit is perfect with my extra pair of wool socks on. They are the best all round winter boot for working outside up in Northern Saskatchewan that arn't like wearing batts of fiberglass pink on your feet. Change your socks and keep dry the liners, you'll be warm.

Pretty Good Boots
Very roomy boots, normally a 14 is a good fit for me but I might even have managed with a 13. Well made and reasonably priced. In fact these were less expensive than just about every other boot I looked at.
