Even though I ordered Dirty Like Me on Amazon a year ago and just finishing reading it in two days, it was a pretty good read. It might be a somewhat slow burn fake relationship romance between rock star Jesse Mayes and a struggling barista, Katie Bloom but they had this intense hot spark between them when they were shooting a music video!!! I thought it was kinda hot and intriguing from the first few chapters and slowly building up to the many hot sweaty moments in and discreetly out of the bedroom?!? I liked how Jesse has a good heart despite of his reputation as a heart breaker and he becomes intrigued by Katie who’s just a regular woman who just simply have an instant spark that captured Jesse’s attention in a hot steamy way. To me, the first three chapters literally grabbed my attention right away and how the author set the tone or flow of the story to moved the plot smoothly through in a steady pace. It’s not just highly sexual romance, it’s also emotional as well especially with trust issues between Jesse and Katie. Each of them have their point of view throughout the story that gave a touch of realism on how things are not what seems to be. I admit there are plenty of hot moments that probably make anyone blush and surprisingly very hot & sexy at the same time. I enjoyed reading this even it took a while to finish reading it.

Steamy and full of heart.This fake dating romance is a bit different than the normal trope as there is a mass amount of chemistry before they decide to fake it. I really don't think there was any faking it's more of how long they have together.Jesse and Katie take us on this dual POV adventure that I just couldn't put down.It's got great characters that are fully developed, but the story is relatively might and low in drama.

First time reading this author. Great writer. Loved Jesse and Katie and the way JD twined them together in a great story.

It's been a while since I read a rockstar romance that I enjoyed! This one was great! Good plot, great spice and loveable characters! I can't wait to read more of the series, I really enjoyed Jaine's writing writing style.

And when the two of them finally collide, it is perfect and blinding.Theirs is a story that will claw at your soul while simultaneously making you laugh out loud with its sharp wit and refreshing candor. And the dialog, by Gods will the dialog between these two stamp itself upon your heart and stay with you long after you finish the last page.It is a wondrously heart thumping, anguish filled story bursting with all the feels in the universe, and you will eat up every word only to crave more!

For the genre - Rockstar romance, celeb H and non celebrity h - this was a fairly decent read though pretty predictable

Ok, let me start by saying that this book is for those who enjoy a Spicy Contemporary Romance.If a Bit of Spice upsets you, then move along, this isn't for you, but if you can accept that the best Romances all have Spice, then come on over !Honestly, I'm pretty sure most Teen girls Fantasised about dating a Hot AF Rockstar... now fast forward to a few years later... those girls, now woman, have become a little more .... shall we say worldly, and can Imagine how 'talented' said Rockstar can be...If you are That woman... The one that loves to read a book about a woman that lives a romantic fantasy with all its ups and downs...then this books is for you!I enjoyed this book because It completely lived up to the fantasy and it dragged me into the love story completely! It was funny and sweet and a little sad but ultimately it leaves you with that lovely "new love" feeling.I've seen reviews that claim the spicy scenes are repetitive and the book drags on...I'm glad I didn't listen because I disagree wholeheartedly. The story is told in a steady pace and I appreciate that the Author took the time to tell the story properly.Yes, there is a fair amount of spicy scenes, but frankly I don't see a rockstar living a chaste lifestyle... do you?Then I'd like to address the 50 shades comparison... now if you liked 50 Shades then I think you will like this... but if, like me, you don't like 50shades, than please don't be put off! This book is not at all like it... the only similarities are rich experienced guy meets girl next door type... maybe the contract part.... but honestly I think it more Pretty woman without the hooker angle.. personally I find the Spicy scenes a little more inventive descriptive than in 50shades and the characters a little more likeable. I mean, Jesse is Panty melting hot!Lastly I found this book on a FB recommendation and I'm always a little sceptical of those. There are a lot of rotten apples out there and I've been burnt by several poor recommendation before...but I'm so glad I tried it, because this book was definitely worth my time. It was HOT and I was rooting for this couple all the way. I very much look forward to the next book!

I loved this book. A book about loosing faith in oneself and finding it back with, through and thanks to someone’s love. It didn’t hurt that the sex scenes were hot. Still, I would have liked to have more out of Jesse. The h and her thoughts and feelings dominated the story. What are HIS demons? What’s HIS story with Zane? What in Katie made HIM shift? Not very clear.
