However what isn't clear of if this add-on fit with attaching to the t2 pro xt 1.5" base** A: No, original bike rack must be t2 pro xt 2" base. **Q: will it handle the heavy electric bikes?** A: The 2 bike rack is rated for 60 pounds, so I would think that the 4 bike setup (2 bike add-on) would hold maximum of 120#. So, the answer is that it will probably handle an electric bike or two but no more than 120# max. Do not take my word for this.
