I’m pleased with these boots.I was looking at two brands of (considerably more expensive) boots, but neither of them had my size in stock. So I bought these. And I’m actually very pleased with them.They are very comfortable, even if (like me) you need a wide fitting shoe.The zip down the inner side makes them easy to get on. I replaced the laces with thinner, waxed laces. I also re-laced the boots with a “locking loop” (over and down through the hole, instead of under and up through the hole) on the fourth eyelet. This makes them grip snugly at the top of the foot.I buffed them up with some mid brown polish. Then I polished the end of the toe with some black polish. As you polish it in, the black polish gets into the seams and the stitching, which gives the boots a nice ”lived in” sort of look.When I bought them, I thought that they would be okay until I could get hold of the ones that I was originally looking for, and then good as a spare. But now that I’ve been wearing them for a while, I think I’m going to stick with these boots.

They should not be considered as a motorcycle boots. Boots soles are so incredibly thin that I wasn't able to ride bike with steel pegs ( no rubber) - after 30 minutes my feet were sore. It's also safety issue - boots are to soft, in case of accident it's like wearing trainers. Good quality leather and finish on them but definitely not for riding motorcycle. It's strange because Shima is rather good motorcycle clothing company but them boots should be pulled from market.

The bad bits: These boots are not at all water proof also the sole cracks at the side where they bend.see picsThe good bits: They are real leather they are comfy with grippy sole.I bought these for riding a motorcycle they disappointed on first day of use as it rained and my feet got soaked I now wear them as a pair of boots for day to day use I use a pair of £20 wellies to ride my bike as they are not suitable.

Ordered in Jan arrived in Feb cracked sole by April.Great looking boots, comfortable but also not nearly as water proof as one would expect and for the price I'd expect it to last longer two months.

My husband is very pleased with his new bike boots. Leather really soft and fit is correct, would recommend these boots

Came in awful condition considering they're supposed to be brand new and they definitely are not real leather!
