Flavor
I got tired of paying $16.00/ 12 oz for premium coffee. I bought 5 lbs of Fresh unroasted green decaff beans and another 3 lbs of green full caffeinated beans. I mix 1/2 & 1/2 for a half caff blend. I use a cast iron skillet.to roast my coffee in and I can adjust my roast accoding to my liking.

Very Very Good Coffee
As I wrote in my review about the Nguyen Coffee Supply - Truegrit Peaberry Robusta: Medium Roast Whole Coffee Beans. My wife is Ethiopian and these are the beans she prefers when roasting her own coffee. As I can't tell the difference as well as she can. She loves the flavor better that the one from the other region of Ethiopia. In this brand, she sees the quality of the beans in their uniform color and relatively their size and thus is quite please with them.

This coffee is great!
I roast it for around 5:40 min and it turns out very smooth. On occasion I like to switch to different types of coffee for a change but I’ll look for this again in the future.

Find this bean slightly lacking in taste at a light roast! Low bitterness but high acidity.
I roasted this with a Presto 04820 PopLite Hot Air Popper and roasted it darker than their Mexican Chipas Organic Green Coffee after only about 2:20 minutes. My wife and I like light roast and we had gone through a 1.3 lb bag of Costa Rica Organic Green Coffee, all done in small batches ( less than 1/3 cup beans at a time. Compared to pre-roasted beans, it's still lighter in color. It tasted quite smooth (no noticeable bite) with a Tbs of Original Organic Soymilk (6g sugar per cup). Unfortunately, the soymilk curdles due to the acidity of the roast at this roasting level. We tired it with Half-and-half and its quite smooth with just a slight hint of bitterness. If we use a Tbs of Organic Vanilla Soymilk (8g sugar per cup), we can't taste the bitterness. This is our experience when brewed using EZ Cup for Keuring, one cup at a time.Currently, we find a mild roast of this bean to be slightly lacking in taste. I will gradually increase the roasting time to see if we get a richer cup of coffee without brewing the bitterness out of the bean or burning it.July 17, 2015After finishing our first 5-lb bag of this green coffee bean and experimenting with roasting times, I'm increasing my rating of this bean to 4-star. Admittedly, I'm not a great fan of decaf coffee. I use this coffee in a mix of 40% decaf plus 60% caffeinated coffee to avoid a buzz in my head after 2 to 3 cups of coffee. Rather than brewing a weaker coffee, I blend this with caffeinated coffee beans to brew a hearty cup of coffee with less caffeine content. From my readings and experience, a mild roast does seem to give me a stronger buzz than a darker roast.I have blended this with Organic Mexican Chiapas Coffee (not decaf) and Costa Rica Dota Estate, Green Unroasted Coffee Beans (both regular and Nectar) and it hasn't noticeably affected the flavor of both regular coffee beans when compared to an unblended cup of the caffeinated coffee. My wife and I both find our coffee smooth, even when we brew cold press coffee with 8 TBS of ground in 32 oz of water, when mixed with soy milk mixed in the 70%-30% ratio.

Great, smooth,
Roast at 400 for 80 minutes, like it the best, (in an air fryer) my fav of all the flavors they sell. Give them a try

Overall good value
What's nice about these are the beans are very uniform in size. Not a lot of small beans so the roasting is more even. The beans roast well. The flavor is okay but part of that is on me as I tend to over roast and get them too dark. Still the beans roast well and grind well also. I will continue to buy this brand as I think the quality is good.
