Making Teddy Bears to Treasure

This book is wonderful! It tells you step by step exactly what you need in the way of supplies, how to make your patterns, and even the errata of publishing comes in a paper along with the book so there is no slow down of getting right to work. The only problem I found was finding a supplier for some of the needs that are hard to get in my area. I did find a great on-line supplier, crscraft.com that works very well with new and experienced teddy bear makers. If you ever wanted to start making teddy bears with personality but were afraid to ask, be afraid no longer! Brian and Donna Gibbs have done a great job making this hobby completely understandableAmazon, you did it again! Thank you so much for carrying products and the people who carry products that we would never be able to find on our own. There will be an awful lot of happy grandchildren out there that will never know how much they owe you!!!

This is an awesome book. I love how the pages of patterns are color coded so as not to mix them up. Lots of helpful information and tips. And wonderful photos! Highly recommended.

A beautiful book, the pictures are very clear, with easy to follow instructions.The book isn't complicated, which is really nice. I'm not a professional, I want to make a lovely bear, without having to buy stacks of equipment. This book is perfect.Really looking forward to get started on my bears.

I am pleased with this book. It has some very characterful designs I will enjoy making. Once made I think the teddies will look like those at the more expensive end, and I can imagine them appealing to older collectors as well as children. Some of the patterns are basic enough for even a beginner in bear making, and with a bit of imagination when you pick the material you can make quite a range of unusual bears.However you will need to enlarge some of the pattern pieces, so access to a photocopier capable of doing this would be useful.

Loved this book, 10 patterns, plenty of instructions and pictures. Received well wrapped in good time.
