ESR Upgraded for MagSafe Wallet, 5 Card Holder, RFID Blocking

I purchased this MagSafe wallet to use with my iPhone 16, and overall I’ve been really impressed with it. The magnet is very strong, and even with my MagSafe phone case on, it attaches securely to the back of my phone. It has never detached by itself, which gives me confidence when using it day to day. The wallet also works as a stand, which is useful occasionally, although it is not a feature I personally use all the time. It can hold up to five cards, and I find the transparent slot especially useful for keeping my ID visible and easy to access. Despite having the wallet for almost a year, it has held up really well. There is only minimal wear and tear, and it still feels good quality. It is not overly bulky when attached to the phone, although naturally it does make the phone thicker. Even so, I have never had an issue fitting my phone in my pocket while the wallet is attached. My only real complaint is that there is not a secure place to store cash. Even space for one folded note would have been useful. I sometimes fold a note and place it inside the middle of the wallet, but I only do this when I really need to. Overall, this is a strong, practical, and durable MagSafe wallet that works well with the iPhone 16. It is great for cards, but less ideal if you regularly carry cash.

TL;DR: Holds plenty of cards, stays attached reliably, and the clear inner slot is a genuinely useful touch. Bought this for my partner after she took a liking to mine. The card capacity is generous without the wallet becoming unwieldy, and the fold-out design doubles as a stand which is something we both use more than expected. The clear inner slot is a practical detail that works perfectly for a driving licence, easy to access without having to dig through the card stack. Attachment strength is excellent, particularly when paired with an ESR case. It has not shifted unexpectedly once, which was a minor issue with a previous MagSafe wallet we tried. A well thought out product that has earned a permanent spot on both our phones.

I rarely write reviews, but on this one I thought it was worth it. My previous phone (iPhone XS) had a great folio wallet, detachable, which was great. So when I changed to a 14 Pro Max, I thought long and hard about whether to get something similar, but didn’t find one I liked. I also thought that times had moved on and I didn’t need cash, and 3 cards was enough. With the new phone having MagSafe, I really wanted to try a wallet. So I did a ton of research, before choosing this one. I’ve had it only 2 weeks but I love it. It comfortably holds 3 cards (wouldn’t try more). It’s quite heavy, but I like that: If I were to drop it, I think I’d notice. It holds magnetically very well to my Moft case. But above all things it’s a great stand. Whether in portrait or landscape, the metal hinge makes it very stable and very adaptable. It holds any angle very well, and is easy to “jam” into things (such as upward tablets in trains and planes - making it great to watch movies). 2 things that could be improved: - I wish it had support for “find my”… but then apart from Apple I don’t know any other that does - the Magsafe magnet is great, but I wish the vertical magnet was stronger, so that it would lock better in the exact vertical position

Fantastic little wallet. Cards fit perfectly and the holes for sliding out are great. Magnet is nice and strong to attach to the back of your phone and the stand functionality is brilliant. Versatile as a wallet and stand

Love this item! So functional, means I can have my cards attached, but also leave behind if I want less bulk on my phone. Magnet is very strong and the fact it holds my phone up and adjustable is perfect! Ideal design with nothing really I would improve.

Initially I was looking to get another folio case for my new phone, as i hate carrying around a separate wallet - for fear of losing it. But I decided to ditch it in favour of the magsafe wallet. Still offers the same convenience of keeping phone and wallet together, as I’m less likely to misplace my phone! First impression of the ESR halolock wallet, Great wallet, feels really sturdy. I have it holding 3 cards, drivers license and a folded bank note. A lot more useful than the apple magsafe wallet, and hell of a lot cheaper. Fitted to my iPhone 14 pro. Doesn’t feel that bulky, however, i don't believe the idea for these magsafe wallets are that they are to be attached permanently to the phone all of the time. It doubles as a phone stand, which is useful and i use it with the ESR hybrid case. I had concerns that the wallet would obscure the camera on the 14 Pro, as they are larger but it doesn’t. It’s a shame apple don't allow case makers like ESR to tap into ios, to show the fancy animation when you connect a magsafe accessory. So overall , very happy. I hope the hinge stays rigid.

To be clear I absolutely love this wallet! However.. Within a month I needed to add a second card to the inside card holder (not the clear plastic holder) to keep the first card from falling out. Which really is a bonus, except, 9 months later and I do have to worry about my cards falling out of it. Happened in San Diego, thankfully I noticed right a way, found them and didn't lose my Credit Card or Costco Card. Which would have sucked being on holiday. If it wouldn't add to the weight of it, I would say a strap could be put there. Right now I am using baby sized elastics, which break more often than not. I have noticed that the stitching has started coming out and the plastic/leather edging has come off. See 2nd Picture. As it is cosmetic it doesn't really matter except when you try to take photos with the wallet on, if you didn't cut that piece of stitching, guaranteed it would show up in a picture. Murphy's Law! Other than those issues, its great! The magnet is strong and very rarely have I knocked it off, maybe once or twice, (human error more than anything). It doesn't interfere with magnetic strips on cards, and it holds real well when watching a movie on the airplane. If you stick the stand part it in the documents holder on the plane and turn it horizontally on the magnet, you can watch anything. If you use your phone for those things. I have also used it for FaceTime when it was hung on my laptop monitor. Hands Free is the way forward! Update - 08/01/2023 ESR reached out to me regarding my wallet, and have now sent me a new one. When Theresa said she was going to do this, I had my doubts. She informed on on Jan 4, 2023 she was sending a new one out, it arrived yesterday while I was away. I got home today and I have already put my cards in the new one. I am so happy. I will update in 1 month as that is when my card started falling out. Best Customer Service ever!
