So much fun and relaxing. They came out so great and the colors were beautiful! Took this set on a sister getaway and we had so much fun doing these together

Before you purchase KNOW 2 things: 1 . These are JUST canvases, they are not stretched onto frames. So they are flat canvases. 2. The picture you have to follow, the color picture is like 1” x 1 1/2”. Otherwise this was a great purchase. Totally bummed it didn’t come stretched on frame, but the paint by number canvas is great, the paints are perfect, the two brushes are just right, and it does come with a larger paint by number sample ( no color, just black and white) so that u can see the tiny numbers more clearly. Painted two of these with a friend and had a great time, paint by number is always fun and relaxing!

My granddaughter loved these pictures! She painted all of them ! Good gift for young teenager girls !

All styles of painting carry their own challanges and unique strengths and acrylic is no excepiton. It dries very fast, for better or worse. It can be used at all degrees of transparancy, from near watercolor to impasso. The viscosity of the paint controls so much, the first thing you need to learn to do is control that. This gives a great intoduction to that and to all of the challenges of acrylic in an easy, convenient format. You can use this as a kit on its own or as a step into more serious acrylic painting and it's great either way.These are lovely and easy to follow. The paint is quite thick, but thins nicely with water. I might add GAC to make it a little easier yet still keep its longevity. I'm torn on that. Certainly if you are using this as a step into serious acrylic painting, you will want that sooner or later. I would also pick up a much smaller brush, say a #1 round, for the detail work. The brushes in the kit are great, but I think a finer one would round out the set nicely. That's not to say the kit can't be used as is. It can, and it's fine. I just think adding those two items will make it easier.The images are lovely and the printing on the canvas is perfect and clear. The instrucitons are excellent. This is good for kids or adults.

A mixed result so far. The sunset beach was very detailed and did not turn out well. The sunset pier had less tiny spaces and color changes and turned out much better.
