They were packed well, no leakage and both bottles were sealed. I transferred 1 bottle into one of my empty sanitizer bottles that already had a pump so it's easier to use. The smell isn't that bad. Smell is just like any unscented alcohol based solution. I'm happy with my purchase.UPDATE:i ordered the same again for the second time and the packaging was even better. This time it came in a cardboard box instead of bubble wrap. Perfect condition. No defects.
