Leading someone to Christ, if they are of another faith, often requires an understanding of their belief system. Ray Comfort provides essential information for eight major religious systems (including Roman Catholicism, and Modern Christianity) that differ from a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Includes written dialogues between a believer and someone from each faith to help understand how to conduct a conversation about salvation. Review: Rough Stone Rolling, an outstanding biography of the LDS Prophet Joseph Smith - Dr. Richard Bushman has written the very best biography of Joseph Smith to date. Written from a neutral point of view, this book gives an open, honest, straight forward, and unbiased recounting of the LDS prophet's life. It took eight years to write and has been researched extremely-well. Richard Bushman, a retired Columbia University history professor, has done an excellent job of presenting an easy-to-read, yet scholarly account of Joseph's Smith's history. It has been thoroughly vetted by prominent LDS and non-LDS historians, academics, and people well-acquainted with biases for and against Joseph. For all of these reasons, I rate it with a full five stars. Review: Fascinating and Succinct! - Who would have thought that a book giving an overview of world-religions would be fascinating to a twelve-year old? It has been! Since I bought this book on Kindle, my son has often grabbed me in the evening and asked to go sit and use the test-to-speech feature on my Kindle and listen to this book. He takes in every word and asks questions. The author has done a brilliant job of encapsulating detail in an informative, captivating manor. Not only has this been interesting for my son, but helpful for me as I endeavor to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those with other beliefs.

A handy reference tool
In this little book Ray Comfort gives a clear, succinct explanation of the similarities and differences between Christianity and the major religions of the world. He does a good job of pointing out the particular areas of concern for the Christian sharing the gospel with adherents of these faiths and how best to present the good news of Jesus Christ. One of the best things about it is that he draws attention to some of the more sensitive subjects and suggests ways to be considerate along with warnings about what could be especially offensive to others. I really like Ray's style of keeping things simple and to the point.

evangleism, not microscopic detail
A short book, so it doesn't cover everything. But it does cover the most important points and more importantly how to reach someone for Christ who is in those groups. And by extension, other groups. I did like that he included atheists and Christians in name only. The Bench warmers who haven't actually been exposed to the actual gospel, as opposed to the convert first and then teach them someday what the gospel is and is for.

It's a hit! Read all about it!
Well I just don't know how,but Ray has seem to have done it again in the book," World Religions in a Nutshell." The simple approach to it is a style all his own in how he shows you just enough of the background of the religion then skill give you some facts and handy ways how to witness to the nonbelievers. This is a really good book if you are a new believer in the LORD, or if you have just started sharing your faith, buy this book it will help you.

The book contains information on the following religions and I am including their locations for your convenience: Mormonism, 368, Jehovah's Witness, 747, Islam, 1034, Roman Catholicism, 1343, Hinduism, 2775, Buddhism, 2008, Atheism, 2310, Modern Christianity, 3011. Bookmark the locations for quick reference since the book does not have a linked table of contents.

Enjoyed very much
The content of this book was truly phenomenal! I have longed for a brief synopsis of world religions for the purpose of understanding them and reaching people given over to these fables. Ray has provided this valuable resource for everyone without the countless hours of reading and decoding the main points from these religions main texts. Thank you! I do wish however that the format of this e-book would be reconsidered. It seems like the print copy of the book was formatted digitally. Since there are no table of contents, it proves difficult to go back and reread or refresh on the various religions. It would be nice to see that change.
