Glamour Witch Incantasia Costume

Q: I am a 5'5 and my weight ranges in the mid-140s. Would a medium be good for me to order because that's the size I usually wear in dresses.

I ordered this costume because it came in x-large. I am 5'1" 160lbs. I could never fit in a medium I have a large chest 40D . Costumes seem to run small to me. And all larges were skin tight. Depends on your chest circumference and shoulder width, and waist size really, since it is a dress.

Q: Is this itchy? Comfortable to wear?

I love this costume! Not itchy at all and is quite comfortable. Fits pretty true to size.

Q: I am 5’ tall. 140#. Besides hemming, what size would I need ?

I am 5'1" & was close to that weight & bought the dress in size large. In addition to shortening the dress, I also easily shortened the sleeves by turning up the top (above the back of my hand) of the purple-lined sleeve & tacking it with a few quick stitches. It kept the long sleeve look without hanging down over my hands. The brim of the hat was pretty floppy, so I glued some wire near the edge of the brim to stiffen it. I later realized that if you wear the hat, the big purple collar needs to lay flat. Sometimes I chose to skip the hat & raise the collar up high behind my neck. It looks great both ways, & I got a LOT of compliments from other party-goers! Two of them even commented how sexy I looked in the costume, LOL! Another tip - I don't think this fabric should be machine-washed.

Q: how long is the dress? i am 5ft 8

Hi - The dress is for my wife - she is 5ft 3in - it goes to the ground on her - she said you could wear boots with it and it would be OK
