Question 1

How would i use this with the aerator? would i apply this first, wait a week or two, then aerate, or can i use them simultaneously? new to all of th

Accepted Answer

You could absolutely use them simultaneously. However, it might make the most sense to spray after you have aerated and then water. This will get the Thatch a Buster into the soil and break down the plugs. A lot of people will also use this product in place of aeration. Hope this helps.

Question 2

How long does it take to see results?

Accepted Answer

You should definitely see results in a months time. Obviously, other factors can affect this. How much thatch does a yard have, how much water has the lawn taken in, what are the temperatures. All of these factors affect the biology of the product. Remember too that the Thatch Buster product is provide quite a few other benefits to you lawn in addition to reducing thatch. Hope this helps.

Question 3

After application, how long should I wait before overseeding?

Accepted Answer

Thank you for your question. We would recommend waiting a week. If the Thatch Buster is watered in, you shouldn't have an issue at all, but a week is a safe and conservative timeframe. Thanks.

Question 4

We’re late to the party. it’s june. which item should we start with? our grass is coming out of dormancy since we live in the mountains of california.

Accepted Answer

Sorry for the late reply. I would give it a nice nitrogen boost with the Lawn Commander to start. After that you can follow our Lawn 360 program for the time of year and your conditions. Hope this helps.
