Excellent mower with fast delivery and great support
I ordered the EGO POWER+ LM2134SP-2 and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it arrived. The packaging was secure, and setup was very simple. Right from the first use, I could tell this mower was a big upgrade from my old gas model. It’s much quieter, easier to maneuver with the Touch Drive, and the Select Cut system leaves the lawn looking very clean and even. The dual 56V 6.0Ah batteries are impressive—I can mow my entire yard on a single charge without worrying about running out of power, and the rapid charger makes recharging quick and convenient. The mower also folds down easily for storage, which is a nice bonus in my garage.I did run into a small issue, but Amazon’s customer service handled it exceptionally well. They were responsive, patient, and resolved everything quickly, which gave me a lot of confidence in both the product and the seller.Overall, this mower has exceeded my expectations. It’s powerful, reliable, and convenient, and combined with Amazon’s excellent support, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Highly recommended!

It's GREAT!
This mower is fantastic! It was simple to put together and is very straight forward to operate. I am mowing 2.5 acres of rough, uneven, hilly ground that we call our yard. After my husband's passing I found I can't start either of our two recoil start mowers, including the one with the "Easy Start" logo right next to the handle for the recoil starter. It didn't take long to realize that the closest neighbor was going to get real tired of me asking him to start the thing every time I had to put more fuel in the tank! Our son has an EGO mower that he has used for several years now. He thinks a lot of his, so I didn't spend a lot of time looking at other makes and models. This model seemed to be a good fit for me. Since it came with the rapid charger and two batteries, i figured I wouldn't have a whole lot of down time waiting for a battery to recharge so I could keep mowing. Just because the weather is good right now, it doesn't mean it's going to be good in an hour or so as I waited for the battery to recharge. At least, that was the logic I was using.I watched the grass growing as I awaited the arrival of my new machine. And I worried if it was getting to be more than I should ask any mower to chew through. A lot of our grass is "thread and needle" which sends up many tough seed stalks on each clump of grass. When the mower arrived, I was thrilled by how easy it was to put together. Most of it was pre-assembled. I put one of the batteries into the charger and found both were at 75% so almost fully charged right out of the box. Adjusting the handle bar was easy and the mower deck height was even easier with it's simple one and done lever right on top of the mowing deck! Then came the moment of truth. Push in the start button and pull the bale back and presto! Starting was a breeze. I was immediately impressed with how quiet this machine runs. Yes, it does make some sound, but you could carry on a conversation if somebody wanted to walk along! Wow! What a difference! I was also impressed that mowing with this mower in mulch mode isn't as dirty a job as it is with any other mower I've used. This EGO keeps everything pretty well contained where all the chewing is taking place rather than scattering it everywhere. NICE!I started out in a section of yard that is relatively level and not as rough as a lot of what I had to cut and I found this mower to be nimble and easy to navigate. It pushes very lightly in most circumstances. I discovered that, even when you have to back up to work your way around something, it's easy to handle. A tip I'd read in the operator's manual said that if it pulls backward hard, just push it forward a little and then pull it backward. I'm no engineer, so why that works I can't say. I can attest to the fact that it does work beautifully. Backing the mower up is just as easy as going forward. Now let me tell you about it's self propelled feature. It's more than happy to assist you on the grades. Simply engage the trigger on the right and away you go! Use the lever on the left to adjust it to your walking speed. When that required me to do longer uphill climbs, I found I don't walk as fast as I do on the level, but it's easy to adjust on the move as the need arises. Most of the time I didn't use the self propulsion and that's probably because 1. this mower pushes easily and, 2. I've never had it before. I had to remind myself to let the EGO do the heavy lifting! With the dual batteries and the rapid charger I found that I had plenty of power for the job. When the red light indicated my battery was getting tired, I'd pop that one out and the charger had already put a full charge on the battery it was working on. Trade the batteries out and keep right on mowing! It's the perfect set up!I now understand why our son is so crazy about his EGO Power+ LM2102SP-A and I'm very glad I had sense enough to listen to him and get the exact same mower. It's a wonderful machine.

Love the dual 6Ah battery model!
This is my second mower of this exact same model. The first one I bought at HD around 5 years ago, it was the single 7.5Ah battery version. It was great until the battery started acting up and became unreliable. So, do I spend $300+ on a replacement battery? Buy an off-brand battery? I decided to sell my lawnmower and 7.5Ah battery and use that money towards the purchase of this new model. The problem with these electric mowers is definitely the batteries. Dozens of 18650 cells chained together to make these large packs. If one cell goes bad, it causes an issue for the whole pack. We need to transition to solid state batteries or something better, but until then, we're stuck with this technology. But aside all that, this specific model on Amazon had two 6Ah batteries included for roughly the same price I paid for my first mower. Why is this important? Because now I don't have to run down a single battery to 10% charge, potentially causing extra degradation. I can use two batteries, run each down to around 40-50%, and that way they are stored at a safe level until next time I'm mowing. I'm hoping by keeping care of the batteries better they will last longer. We'll see. What I wish eGO would do is never sell a single battery model configuration and only sell dual battery models. Instruct the customer to rotate batteries during mowing to ensure never running them too low. Also sell battery configurations for different sized lawns, for example two 2.5Ah batteries up to 3,000 sqft or two 6Ah batteries up to 7,500sqft that way the homeowner can buy the correct battery configuration based on the size of their lawn. For my lawn, the two 6Ah batteries comfortably gets me through 7,500sqft bermuda. Now the mower. It's definitely my favorite mower of all time. I'm done with gas mowers, they are too loud and I'm not interested in the maintenance/winterization. The mower is lightweight, easy to maneuver, and the self-propelling feature is very good. The power seems to be pretty good as well, not sure if it's as powerful as my old Honda mower, but it's close enough and I'm not noticing much of a difference. When grass gets high or dense, it will ramp up power to push through.Just make sure you use the correct blade configuration. Read the manual and watch YouTube videos on how to do maintenance. One thing I will say is the blades are somewhat soft, I seem to have to sharpen them about every 3-4 mows to keep them razor sharp. Seems to be consistence experience even with my old mower and blades. That's the only negative really.I highly recommend getting a dual battery model for longevity purposes. If you can get it on sale then you're getting great value.
