At what level of water does the pump turn on and off? How much standing water stays in the basin?

Hi there, The noise is from vibration. if you placed something under the basin, a rubber mat, sheet of cardboard or something that can dampen the vibration, this will quiet it a bit. Thanks

Bought this in 2018 stopped working today, motor just hums when it should engagenany idea how to fix this ?

Take it apart and make sure the intake isnt plugged with lint or dirt.
