Pieces of Forever: A Christian Romance (River Falls)

This was my very first time reading a Christian romance book from start to finish. I never feel compelled to leave a book review but this story was so touching, relatable, and incredible that I had to show my support.The story wasn’t in your face preachy like many people expect Christian stories to be. It had real life scenarios with people who looked to God for guidance. It was very realistic and inspired me to be a better child of God.The characters were relatable—especially Ava in my case—and both had a very sweet love story. If you’re looking for a short, sweet, book to cozy up to this fall I would recommend giving this story a go.Thank you author for such an incredible and inspiring book. I will make sure to give the other stories in the series a go! Five stars all around!

This story is one of patience, understanding, and loving others as God loves us, through His grace. A perfect example of how we should aspire to be! Grab this book and enjoy!

Wonderfully written with characters who come to life. Personal reflection of your identity ... how we see ourselves versus how our heavenly father sees us.

This was a good read but slow getting to the end. Having the same set back numerous times was a bit daunting.

A book about letting go of your past, and accepting yourself. A story about forgiveness, patience, and hope. A sweet love story about how love never gives up.

Ein sehr gelungener Roman bei dem der Protagonist Joseph besonders das Herz berührt. Seine Treue und Liebe für Ava sind berührend. Männer wie ihn würde diese Welt dringend brauchen. Valerie beschreibt sehr einfühlsam, wie Gott auch aus den Scherben unseres Lebens noch etwas Wunderschönes machen kann. Teilweise fühlt sich der Ort River Falls wie aus einem Märchen an, doch es scheint so besondere Plätze auf dieser Welt tatsächlich noch zu geben.

Die Handlung des Buches hätte in ein Kapitel gepasst. Es bleibt alles sehr oberflächlich. Es geht fast ausschließlich um die Gedanken zweier Personen, die sich lieben, es sich aber nicht erlauben zusammen zu kommen - bis endlich ganz am Ende der Widerstand bricht.

Seemed to take Ava forever to realize that in spite of her burn scars Joseph still loved her. She just played that over forever in her mind, and couldn't get past that no matter what Joseph did or said

I cannot cannot explain how great this book is. It jumped to my top 2 favourite books of all time!!! I never felt so seen 🩷🩷💕
