Very Intelligent Product
This is a very impressive doorbell camera. I purchased this Eufy Security Doorbell Camera when my Wemo doorbell camera just stopped working after a year ā¹ļø. However, I like my new Eufy soooo much better. The Eufy notifies my phone when it detects movement and it is excellent at distinguishing between a delivery, a person waiting for me to answer the door or just movement and pushes a notification to my phone telling me which of these scenarios it has detected. This is very useful because I can open the app and speak to someone waiting at the door but can ignore other notifications until it is convenient to look at them. The second camera that is angled down keeps any eye on my packages until I can collect them, the old Wemo could not see any packages after they were placed on the steps. The Eufy was extremely easy to install - it literally took me 5 minutes - and it comes with an optional wedge to help you angle the camera if your old doorbell is off to the side of your door like mine. The Eufy app is ridiculously easy to use and stores your videos for free - no paying for a subscription š!!! It will also work flawlessly with Appleās Home app. While I hardwired my camera, I have two Eufy cameras that run on rechargeable batteries and I have been very impressed with the battery life and performance in extreme temperatures so I am confident that the battery on this doorbell camera would be equally impressive. Overall, I am really impressed with Eufy products and feel that this company is the gold standard in home surveillance. If you need to mount your doorbell on vinyl siding this little mounting block is useful: https://www.amazon.com/Siding-Mounting-Blocks-130110006002-Octagon/dp/B0BWDQ217C/ref=sr_1_9?crid=2II7VVBLX8B7U&keywords=siding+plate+for+light+fixture&qid=1694455918&sprefix=Siding+pla%2Caps%2C114&sr=8-9

Great door bell camera, independent of costly āplansā; a big plus.
I was an original Nest user when they first came out, loved their cameras, Google is ditching them in 2024. So I was looking for a good alternative. Many options out there try to tie you to costly, monthly security programs. Glad to say that Eufy allows independence to that, a big plus in my mind.Great doorbell unit, supports both wired and battery supported doorbell and camera (a great flexibility option), I have not had it long enough to comment on the battery life. It also comes with a base-station, video storage/controller until (connects through cat-5 cable or WiFI).It has dual cameras, for faces/bodies and packages (ground focus). Good logic embedded for recognizing people and that packages are being left or were left. Their logic handling is good regarding people recognition, the package drop off, re āloiterersā. Speed is satisfactory, a few seconds to get the messages so you can react if and as needed.Disappointed that it is not HomeKit compatible. I resolved that by using a HOOBs server to integrate. All in all a good unit, functions well, reasonably priced, easy to install.

Good home security doorbell camera
I have been using the Eufy Security S330 Video Doorbell with HomeBase for a few months and I have a positive experience with this item. Here's a review with the pros and cons.Starting with the pros, one of the features of this video doorbell is its battery-powered design. It eliminates the need for any complicated wiring installation, making it easy to set up. The battery life is also impressive, granted it was installed about 3 months ago and is up for its first charging. The video quality and footage with its 2K HD resolution is clear and detailed, allowing me to easily identify faces and objects. Additionally, the camera lens provides a wide viewing angle, ensuring that I can see the entire area around my front door. The night vision capabilities provide clear footage even in low-light conditions.Another feature is the dual motion and package detection. The motion detection sensitivity can be easily adjusted to avoid false alarms caused by passing cars or other non-essential movements. I receive a lot of packages and the package detection feature really helps keep track of my packages. One major attraction of the Eufy Security S330 doorbell camera is the absence of any monthly subscription fees. Unlike some other video doorbell systems, there are no subscription costs for cloud storage or access to advanced features. This is a significant benefit for those who want to avoid any additional expenses. However, the cons I noticed is the HomeBase unit needs to be connected to your home network, so a stable and reliable internet connection is necessary for it to function properly. Also, there is a couple second delay on the notification to receive the video when recording after someone presses the doorbell, but it is not overly worrisome.
