Works fantastic! I have tried other swimmer’s shampoos and been sorely disappointed. This works! The phase protector goes on easily and is non-sticky. It feels conditioning. The shampoo smells good and cleans well without stripping hair if natural oils and not stripping color. I use henna creme to color my hair and swim frequently. I wanted to preserve my hair and color from turning into brassy straw. These products fill the bill! I love how shiny and silky feeling my hair is after shampooing and conditioning after a swim!

I’m a swim instructor and spend anywhere from 3-5 hours in the water on a daily basis. Most our pools are about 88 degrees and none of them have on site showers. I drive about 13-30 minutes until I can get to a shower. Aqua guard and I have a love hate relationship. The first time I used this I put it in like 2 minutes before I got in the pool and slathered it on. It smelled amazing and did stay in my hair all through the shift. But when it came time to shower it wouldn’t come out. It stayed in my hair making it crunchy and super tangled. I don’t like to give up on products so I did some research and experimentation and here’s what I found. 1. It doesn’t matter if it goes in your hair wet or dry. 2. Put it on like 5 minutes before going in the pool. That gives it time to absorb 3. Think of it like a top coat for your hair you want enough for it to coat it but not enough that you see super thick deposits in your hair. 4. You HAVE to use a special chlorine removing shampoo to get it out (I tried a normal clarifying shampoo and it failed so look for swim specific I buy a 3 in 1 product and it works great although sometimes I do have to wash 2 times) 5. If you have warm water it’s best to rise your hair in that right after swimming and try not to let it dry in your hair or sit in it for a long time. ( I will say that I can actually let it sit in my hair for a bit like 1-2 hours if I rinse my hair in super warm sink water before leaving) Following all the above rules it works beautifully my hair is the softest it’s ever been and while there is some chlorine damage from my failed uses I haven’t seen any damage beyond that. I even had some curls one day. I usually braid my hair and due to being an instructor and working with kids I don’t wear a swim cap and I’m really happy with the condition of my hair. Plus it smells so good for everyone wondering the smell is a sweet almond smell due to the almond oil in it. I just ran out (this sized bottle lasted me about a month) and have the huge bottle on the way

My kids have been using Aqua Guard before their daily swim practice, and it really helps protect their hair from swimming pool chemiclas. It’s easy to apply, not greasy, and has a light, pleasant scent. Their hair are soft and smooth, less tangling and less hair shedding after pool days. This is a must-have if your kids swim regularly.

I can't believe how well this worked. My daughter added blue streaks to her hair and we destroyed them right before school started by going in a pool. Had them redone at the salon thankfully it looked even better the second time. But then we had a vacation coming up which included a ton of pool time, so I bought this set and really hoped for the best. We used it and not a single strand was impacted by the pool and she probably stayed in the pool a total of 10 hours between multiple days. It also smells great and left her hair super soft. Highly recommend for fashion colored hair!!!!

Product is good (smell and texturea) but I've been using these products for a week before and after swimming, and so far didn't notice any difference from the regular product. My hair continues to be dry, stiff and with a lifeless texture/appearance caused by the chlorine in pool.

This is an excellent product as I discovered the first time I used it. It kept my long naturally blonde/silver grey hair moisturized and fairly easy to comb out after spending time in both the ocean and our saline swimming pool. My hair length is below my middle back. I use no more than about a quarter cup, concentrating on covering the ends of my hair, but not neglecting the rest of my head. I’ve applied it on both dry hair and damp hair. You can work it through to cover more if applied on damp hair. I think the scent is fine-kind of a tropical fruity spell. I also notice that there was no change in my hair color, but I’ve never had that problem. I live on the Big Island of Hawai’i surrounded by a beautiful ocean and love being in the water. But, my hair started suffering from it. I’m a mature woman and the texture of my hair has changed over the years. I’ve tried several other hair conditioners that left my hair thick and greasy feeling. Aqua Guard is made specifically for salt and chlorine water situations. It’s pricey, but for me it works and worth it in order to keep my hair in good condition. I’m in the water almost every day of the week. What would make it an outstanding product is if it were Reef Safe. I hope you’ll like the product as much as I do.

Prodotto effettivamente molto valido per l’utilizzo in piscina con cloro. L’ho usato sia prima della piscina che subito dopo, e devo dire che contribuisce in modo significativo a proteggere prima, e a restaurare poi i capelli post-esposizione al cloro, eliminandone completamente l’odore e lasciando i capelli morbidi

This is the best pre swim hair defence I’ve tried, my hair is very thick and dry having quite a lot of damage from bleach and other dye’s. Easy application and completely scentless even while swimming , as someone who swims a lot I’ve really been able to tell a difference. When my hair dries it’s soft and moisturised, prevents the chlorine from causing damage and doest change hair colour, would recommend!

I have extremely dry, fine hair and although I only swim in chlorine once a week, it was absolutely killing my hair. The bottom 3 inches felt like straw and I had to get it cut off. I bought this hoping it might help and boy, it sure does! It is a bit expensive but so, so worth it. It takes a couple of times to really notice the difference but it has really saved my hair. Slather on the protector before swimming. We have rainwater tanks at home which I prefer to the town water at the pool so I shampoo at the pool, pput the conditioner in and leave it in until I get home (about an hour). Feels amazing and silky

Si miráis la reseña que tengo del champú de esta misma casa veréis que me soluionó el problema con el pelo que se le quedaba como estropajo a mi hija del cloro, pero a mayores dándole ésto antes de meterse en la piscina ha sido una pasada, salía con el pelo perfectamente nutrido y nada estropajoso como otras veces, luego lavar con el champú de la misma marca y magia... Estoy en espera del acondicionador que me llega hoy, ya evaluaré, pero al menos para mí estos dos productos han sido casi milagrosos. En cuanto a cantidad le eché bastante pero porque mi hija tiene muchísimo pelo, pero se reparte bien y cunde si lo peinas y lo extiendes por todo el pelo. A la larga si calculo todas las veces que le tenía que echar antes champú y acondicinador en un mismo lavado para que encima se le siguiese quedando como estropajo, me sale hasta barato. Merece la pena comprar este pack que vienen dos porque sale mucho más económico.
