Outstanding performance
I was truly not expecting a whole lot from these little cameras. I got them yesterday and thus far they have wowed me. I can't imagine better cameras at this price point. Setup was incredibly easy...the easiest I have run across when trying to set up ANY new electronic device. I did note that they are rated for 2.4 GHz only but I do not have access to 2.4 GHz and the distance from the cameras wouldn't be a huge distance away, so I set up one just to see if it would work with my 5 GHz. EDITED TO ADD: I have been told by someone that my router may have mixed 2.4/5Ghz technology inside even though I do not have access to see that listed separately when I look at available wi-fi connections. I do not own the router; it is simply what is provider by my internet provided. It did and it does...flawlessly. One of the cameras is just outside a window about 15 feet from my wireless router. The other camera is at least 25 feet away on my back patio...with a brick wall and 2 interior walls between the camera and the router. I, of course, cannot promise that others will have the same experience...it may have to do with the fact that my router is placed up near the ceiling and that the fiberoptic service I have is overall stellar. Both cameras perform equally well on my 5G. I tried one camera just facing out my front window and it performed great through double-paned windows with a screen on them. Night vision was not so good because of the glare (which is well noted in the documentation provided, I just wanted to give it a try). So I just raised the screen a bit and used super strength Velcro to attach the camera to my window ledge and night vision was great. Just to note: I do live in a condo complex and there are security lights around all the buildings, so my cameras are not operating in total darkness or extremely low light situations. I am still fine tuning my activity zones, alerts and such. Some folks say there is a lag between detection and notification. There is a several second delay but nothing excessive on mine anyway. But I truly only want/need the cameras to capture/record things so that I can go back and look if anything seems amiss around my place. The battery life seems very good thus far. The front camera gets a lot of activity, some of which in the past 24 hours is because of me messing around with the camera. From a 90% charge, in roughly 24 hours, the front camera is down to 61% and the rear camera is down to 70%. I am fine with charging the batteries every few days because it means I do not have to worry about running a cord to a plug. I believe a person can purchase solar panel power but this is just a monitoring thing for me, so if the batteries run down and the camera misses something, it is not a huge deal to me.

Feeling Secure
I'm pretty much a skeptical person especially when it comes to purchasing items online, however, I'm totally absolutely pleased with these cameras. I purchased two of the white cameras and the great part is I no longer have to peek out the window when I hear a noise. The night vision is perfect, the video quality is amazing. I'm 60+& I installed the cameras myself. The app is very easy to navigate and the best part is you can monitor your property even when you're away. Oh and BTW, I have had no problems with them functioning during extreme weather conditions.

Low price, great quality.
For the most part, I am happy with the camera. My only problem is it takes a little bit of time before it starts recording so you actually are just walking up to the door before it starts recording and the person has to walk up five steps and across the deck without being recorded. It is clear in the daytime and at night time as well. The color is very good. It has a wide angle and I can see 4 of my neighbors houses with one camera. Not too difficult to set up. Great quality for the price. I have purchased four of these and have them set up all over the outside of my house and I can even see the vehicles driving on the road (160ft away).

Great for the money
I love it. It's a nice system. It's cheap for a yearly subscription and it's got a I that also helps. Identify people and what they're doing nice set up

Great camera if you need wireless installation
I needed to monitor my back patio area and the adjacent parking lot nearby. I did not want to run power and data wiring to this outdoor location. It shipped in a nice box with great packaging and an instruction book that is well written. You need to install the Vicohome app and that is easy to do. The wifi setup for use in the home is typical and went smoothly. Note: it only works on the 2.4 Ghz Frequency. Installation was stupidly simple. I used a cordless drill/driver and a step ladder. I put three screws thru the mounting holes and into the trim on my home and attached the camera. I charged the camera overnight and even though it arrived at 50% power, it took hours to get it charged 100%. The camera attaches to the mount very simply with a threaded stud and a locking ring. This whole process is super DIY friendly. The videos are captured when motion is detected. Each video is 10 s and I think that is adjustable but it is fine with me so I left it alone. The motion sensitivity is adjustable and I have it on medium. I tested it by walking around the perimeter of my yard and it catches all motion inside my yard and beyond to the parking lot behind my home (apartments). The videos are stored in the cloud and available to view or download through the app. I can also store them redundantly on a micro SD card - I chose not to use that. Installed for one week and taking about a dozen videos per day. Battery is at 94%. The battery in this camera is not removable. You either have to take the camera down to recharge it or bring a charging cable to the camera. I plan to rig up an extension cord with a charging cable when I need to charge the battery. This camera has extra features and additional cloud storage for a fee. I don't use any of that. I get 7 days of unlimited cloud storage for free. After a full month, if all goes well, I plan on getting another one for the driveway beside our home. My only other experience with security cameras is the Skybell doorbell camera (also no fee for cloud storage). This VicoHome camera streams faster with the same resolution setting. I am satisfied with it. Pros Great package and instructions Easy installation Nice App Excellent video - I can zoom the live feed if I want to check something out real time. I can view live feed and recorded videos from anywhere. Works great! No Cloud Storage Fees Cons I wanted to set up my wife's phone so that she can see the videos. Instructions for that are included but I could not get it to work. I have not called support about this but I will sometime. This is a small inconvenience at the moment for us. I removable battery would have been nice.

Great performance guarded by a paywall.
!!Edited review at bottom!! Original review: After having this product for roughly 3 months I figured now is the perfect time to write an honest review. This review is being written on my own accord. I did not pay for the premium membership for this camera. This is a review based on my experience with the free out of the box membership. Pros: Despite it's lower than average cost these security cameras are relatively high quality in both picture and sound. The night camera creates incredible visibility without sacrificing quality. Camera hooked up to app with very little fuss and was ready to set up within minutes of arriving. You can access live feed, giving you peace of mind if you hear a bump in the night. Cons: Firstly the paywall. The membership options are not a blanket one time pay for all cameras. You must pay an additional fee per camera, which means if you need multiple your monthly fee increases dramatically. Without the paywall you are unable to have AI detection software which dramatically decreases your battery life, leaving you to recharge your camera once a week because it keeps getting set off my branches swaying in the wind. This can leave you in a situation like mine where evidence of a crime committed fully in camera view is lost because the camera you thought was charged was in fact dead due to gross over vigilant detection software. You are also unable to have as many videos held onto the cloud without paying into the paywall. That means if you are on vacation for more than a couple days you will likely not have all the footage from the time you were away in the event that something happens on your property. This also means that your videos are substantially shorter than if you paid the paywall. The videos range from 10 seconds to 50 max with a break between each one. Meaning if you're getting the beginning of the crime you might not be able to capture the actual crime being committed. There is also the issue of the confusing setup of the app itself. How do I access live feed? Where is the settings option? How do I pay premium? These things aren't readily explained and there aren't really any recognizable icons to click on. There's also the issue of the camera mic itself. I've been told talking through it comes through as a whisper. Accessing live feed is not instantaneous. Precious moments can be lost as you repeatedly click on the live feed option and are kicked out of it. I'm unsure if this is a network issue or an app issue. All of these issues have dropped my review down to 3 out of 5 stars. I don't think I'll be buying anymore cameras from this company as I can't justify paying so excessively through a paywall. EDIT: As of July 17th I've changed my review from 3 stars to 1. At 12:11am I heard my dogs barking. I immediately checked my camera and right on my porch, in full center sight of my camera was a pack of loose dogs ripping apart one of my feral colony cats. She is alive but paralyzed. This camera not only does not have a feature to save live feed video, but it also had NOT been saving videos or notifications of the event or ANY video at all up until the moment I checked the live feed. This is disgusting and unacceptable for a "security" camera. I saw the dogs on my live feed but due to the chaos of running to save my cat I didn't think you screenshot them and the footage and evidence was lost!! I had previously turned off notifications because I had been receiving them non stop every 20 seconds, this however is not choosing to put the camera to "sleep" I'm simply choosing to check in on the camera and all saved files manually. There are however NONE. So unless you want to pay a ridiculous fee and have the equivalent of a hacked webcam I'd highly recommend any other product than this one. I am absolutely livid.

PERFECT SECURITY and WORTH THE PRICE!
These are great cameras and super easy to install. It does not take rocket science. The video quality is great, but there is maybe 1 second delay but that doesn't bother me. The color and sound is sharp. I love the functions of the settings such as the flashing light and alarm (that is super loud) which I do not use because it will bother my neighbors. It connected easy-peesy 1,2,3 to my WiFi without an issues and don't necessarily follow the instructions (I did not have to face my face to the QR code like the manual says) and as far as security, my mom and I feel safe already. Especially now when we go out, we can feel safer that we can keep an eye out on who's near our door. The only bad thing that I have to say about this, the one way speaker is not crystal clear and cuts off, especially if there are other sounds in the background (passing cars sound like demons, haha). Also too, it didn't take long to charge so that's a plus. I am in love with the night vision feature and it works in low lights too, cause if you can't see, you can always use the light feature too. And it is a great size, not too big to fit on the front door frame. You can also use the alarm and flashing light manually while watching the live feed if there's an emergency or intruder. There's also the membership to get all of the important features which is only 19.99 so that's not too bad.

High picture quality, versatile, amazing capabilities
These cameras are amazing since the firmware upgrade recently introduced. They are easy to program, charge and work well with the app and 128 GB microSD card. They can format the card that some windows 10 and above computers will no longer do. They feature color night vision, infrared vision, motion sensing, settable zone for motion detection, and sensitivity adjustment. It can recognize known vehicles, so not to trigger an alert. They can be put to sleep when activity is occurring in the property, such as mowing, maintenance, deliveries, etc. helping to maintain the battery charge for longer periods. They do not seem to consume much power when just placed in monitoring mode but once it starts sensing motion, it will send a notification to your phone via the Internet in about 5 to 10 seconds. The charge appears to last between 1 1/2 and 3 months depending on the usage. The resolution is up to 4K, if desired, but using the standard resolution conserves the battery charge. The speed is fast with probably the 5 second delay for notification. Storage capacity is 128 GB and is easily reviewed with your phone and the length of recording motion can be easily adjusted. More features are available with a reasonably priced subscription of about USD 40 a year for unlimited numbers of devices monitored. I'm using 5, and keep a spare fully charged and ready to go. When the battery is depleted in one camera. I just simply replace it with my fully charged spare then recharge that will. I think the quality and features rival that of any of the other leading monitoring systems and this system can be used without a subscription, but you are only using the storage capacity of the camera for image retention. Installation is easy instructions are clear, the app is fairly intuitive and is mandatory to be used for monitoring your cameras. The pictures will enlarge, are detailed, and can be viewed in landscape on your iPhone. The zone of interest in the picture can be individually zoomed, and screen shot made of any area and a screenshot made. I think these offer more features per dollar than any other camera I have had the opportunity to to use.
