It's hard to tell if it's doing its job in the sewer pipe — I've scheduled to do this every 3 months, just to be sure it can work properly. I deduct one star because it doesn't foam _that_ much. There is some activity when I pour it into the toilet bowl, but there's not a burst of foaming as I've had with other (more expensive) foaming treatments. In fact, it leaves a sludge at the bottom of the bowl that needs to be flushed several times to clear. Also, I wear a mask while doing this. I noticed before, without a mask, that the fine spray released into the air when pouring in the bowl troubled my breathing. So, use a mask, just to be sure you're not breathing in a chemical that bothers you.

Worked great now my lines drain better than they have before

This item arrived in a broken container (plastic jug) which was evidently damaged before being shipped to me as the jug was encased in a plastic wrap which was insufficient at holding the product since the product was also spilled into the shipping box. I would not recommend ordering this product via mail order since it is a chemical and it arrived in a broken jug. There is a large quantity of this product that will not be used quickly. Very inconvenient and a disappointing mess. Also, a possible health hazard since it is not properly contained nor stored. I have purchased this product before, and I have no no complaints with the product itself.

This works well but, it does make me cough (and choke) when I'm using it - even when wearing a mask. I can't imagine how bad this would be without one. It does not foam - at least I don't wait around to see if it will. It does the job, but so well, it killed half of my Japanese maple. ( I suspected this was causing the root issue - now I know for sure.) In light of all this, I will continue to use this product. I'm sure it's saved me from a big plumber's bill. Update: This is the second time I've experienced this product delivered where the lid has opened and the product is everywhere. They do nothing to ensure this will not happen. As a result, UPS had to tape the bottom of the delivery box to keep the granules and fine powder from leaking out. Who knows how much was lost before they did that! I had 6 other items in the delivery and all are covered with the powder residue - including a stuffed-animal pet toy that is coated with it as well. (Dogs tend to use their mouths to play with toys - so especially not good.) I had about a cup of the granules in the bottom of the box, not to mention all over my kitchen floor and counter top.

My plumber recommended this to me. Been using for several years now, no more plumbing clogs!

Excellent product. Really works! Just follow the directions. Have been using for maybe about 5 years. Home Depot no longer carry so was happy to learn can order on AMAZON.

Have used just one application, so far seems to have worked well. Easy instructions.

It worked for us, and the line cleared right away. Would definitely recommend.

Not sure if it worked. Had my drains cleared due to roots, then bought this. Did a test with it and it didn't foam up. So the question is, does it foam up in the drain? No way to see.
