Good variety of colors but thread is thin. Sometimes breaks on me when I’m hand sewing! I have not used in my sewing machine yet but I’m kind of hesitant as I want it to work well but kind of doubt it will. So 4 stars as thin thread is not easy to use and overall does not function like it should.

I bought this for the variety of colors just to have some different colors around when needed. As noted the spools are hard to start, but not impossible once you do it once. The biggest problem is the thread is thick and a bit more difficult to thread the needle and it’s not very sturdy so it breaks often while sewing. I wouldn’t want to use them for more than just some repair work. Not very high quality but ok for the price.

Beautiful colors, timely shipping, as promised. Do note that the thread would NOT be good for use with a sewing machine, which I believe is noted in the description, but is advertised on the item packaging itself. The thread is thicker than usual - great for hand sewing projects with larger-eyed needles, but not at all for a machine.
