I'm reviewing this several years after purchase. Works perfectly after 1 1/2 years. Superior to original Farberware knob because it has metal internal threads, unlike Farberware, which had threads molded into the nylon knob. Installation required only unscrewing the old knob, substituting the screw from the Universal Pot Lid Knob for the original screw, and screwing on the new knob. Appearance--I didn't care; it does the job.
