They work!
I was recently on a road trip and tried these out. Used the round one with the rectangular one inside folded accordion style and wrapped with a couple plies of tp wrapped around it. Absolutely worked for the odor. Not all that comfy though. One day on my visit to our destination, I was pretty miserable around people for a couple hours as ai was afraid to let the gas out. I got up to walk down the hall and had three small, involuntary expulsions. I heard each one! (Not loud) After a week of experimentation, I find I get good results using simply the round pad wrapped in a couple plies of toilet paper. (It was easy to change the paper each time I went to the bathroom so I could wear one pad all day.) The pad prevents the odor.
