We adopted a kitty that has a really bad pooting smell. She's a year old. Took her to the vet and they prescribed her a probiotic that has a liver taste. She HATED it. Wouldn't eat her food so I took it back. They were surprised she didn't like itHaving ordered before from this compti found this one and no flavor. I sprinkled it onto her food and NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. She's been on it a week now. Although she still has very soft stools, there's not that strong smell that would clear a room. Thx for a great product.

First ordered this from Chewy.com in January, however I just noticed the mfg date was from 9/22/22. I don't if the strains are mostly dead or not, but still gave to my dog. One of my dog's got a nasty staph ear infection. He's been on major meds ( all sorts of antibiotics and now, Rifampin) to get rid of the staph. His poops are starting to get really soft and the meds affect his liver. I believe in probiotics to help keep his gut and system as healthy as possible. I've stopped all other supplements for now and just give him this probiotic with Terry Naturally Animal Health Curacel Curcumin Optimal Cellular Support Dog Supplement. I believe!I just reordered this probiotic from Amazon on subscription as it's a smidge cheaper than Chewy. The mfg date is more recent from last month, April 2023, so hoping the strains are a lot more potent. Seems to work as my other dog's poops are perfect.
