Please read my review. *by A***A on Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2023* The media could not be loaded.  Back in January 2023 I ordered a different version of this I had seen on tiktok from their site. It took months to come & then broke after I had finally fallen in love with it & used it daily for 2 more months. I came to Amazon to find a similar one for less & settled on this version. In comparison to my old hoop, this one is lighter, quieter (there will still be noise just FYI) & the weight runs smoother around the track. When I started using a hoop religiously in mid July 2023 I was coming off of a spinal fusion recovery. I had put on a lot of weight due to the neck and arm troubles I was having that resulted in that surgery. I’m not a person that likes exercise. I don’t do well with high impact workouts. I also never had a lot of stamina. The first couple times using the old hoop (which works the same way this one does) I got discouraged. I felt like I would not be able to get the hang of it. But as I kept practicing I went from five minutes a day to 15 minutes. Now in late September 2023 I work out with this every day for approximately 50 minutes. Why 50? Because my goal is 500 cal. If I consistently work out for 50 minutes, only taking small breaks for water, I achieve approximately 510 cals in 50 minutes or less. My weight loss has been so noticeable, 43 pounds as of today September 20, 2023, that people stop me and asked me what I’m doing. I’ve gotten many friends to try this hoop. Everyone of them has loved it so far. I just sent the link to another friend this morning. I have a disabled daughter. I need to be fit and healthy to care for her. I also wanted to look my best and feel good. This hoop has really made that possible for me. I am a stay at home mom and I carve out at least an hour and a half a day for myself. I use that time to work out. Sometimes I work with resistance bands but in my opinion, you can get all the cardio you need with this piece of “equipment“. I use an Apple Watch and I personally choose the social dance category for a work out. Funny enough, hula hooping is not on the list lol if you’re looking for something fun, sustainable, low impact that works – this is the product for you. I am able to get my heart rate in the 150s by sort of jogging in place as well as bringing the weight in closer to the body than the way it comes in the box. You have more control over it and it makes it just a little harder to move it around for better results. The other hoop had the same size links and I was able to take three of them off before it broke. I have just taken two links off of this hoop. Each length is approximately 2 inches. You do the math. I’m very happy. I will leave it at that but coming from someone who has really been using this since mid July I can attest to it working and working well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice quality, easy to use, but it is loud! *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on October 29, 2023* I've been getting more into being healthier and trying to lose weight, so I bought this! When I was younger I used to have a hula hoop that because weighted from rain getting in it, and it worked amazingly! This one works very similarly, except its not one of those regular circle hula hoops! When it arrived and I showed my mom, she was very excited because she's been wanting to try one for a while, so I'll be sharing this one or maybe buying another one for her as a gift.I plan to use this more during the winter and summer, when I cant ride my bike long distances as much, but I am going to use it a couple times a week now in fall and in spring. The weight is very good, and is easy to get it started once you figure it out, for me it took about a minute. The slide rails are very easy to connect and disconnect, along with putting the weight and string holding it into the track. It is a bit loud, it would be nice if it was quieter, but I understand why it's loud. I don't mind the volume, but I know some people don't want it to be loud.It came with a jump rope, and two measuring tapes (that worked differently)! I must have not seen that it came with them because I was suprised when I saw them!Overall, very nice quality, easy to use, but it is loud! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good but not perfect *by M***A on Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2024* I don't know if there are any such hoops which are better quality. While it's very useful and attractive, and sheer fun to use,I found myself not using it much, shifting to other ways of exercise eventually.Probably because of a gut feeling that using it too much will break it. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/412151206-weighted-exercise-hoop-plus-size-32-detachable-knots-for-adults](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/412151206-weighted-exercise-hoop-plus-size-32-detachable-knots-for-adults) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
