**Q: Were they made in usa?**
A: Made in China. 

The 50 cal box I received today was wrapped in bubble wrap and there was a paper label on the bubble wrap that said “Made in China”. 

Box itself is brand new and looks like it should do the job and last for many years.

**Q: Would this box work for a time capsule - to be buried in the back yard?**
A: the can is painted and has a gasket in the lid however it is still a steel box so depending on how long you plan to leave it buried it will eventually rust.

**Q: Does the 50 cal box have an air tight seal?**
A: It's a 30 cal. box but picture is of 50 cal. box so it's the narrow box you get.  Seal is tight though

**Q: How much 0.308 will it hold?**
A: depending on how you stack it it will hold upto 800 rounds in the 50cal and about 400 in the 30cal
