Fixed my 2008 Honda Pilot
These are the bulbs you need to fix the heater control switch on a 2008 Honda Pilot EX-L. Unfortunately, the Honda has 6 of these bulbs, so you have to buy two kits. Took me less than an hour to replace these bulbs, and my switches are all lit up again. The older Pilots had two different size bulbs. The 2008 Pilot has 6 of these to replace, and that's it. Hopefully they last many years. Now I need to find the other bulbs that fit the other switches like the heated seats, cruise control, hazard lights, etc. You do have to have a correctly sized flat head screwdriver to turn these in. They bite a little harder than the factory bulbs.

Bulbs fit the 2008 Pilot EX-L climate control night lights
The bulbs fit well on the unit I have. The three pictures show the main transitions in the installation. The left-most picture shows the interior of the climate control unit. The 6 bulb bases are the brown round disks with the small slots in the middle. (You do not need to remove the knob from the front of the unit, despite the fact you see it in the picture. Nor do you need to remove the decorative face from the unit. Just the unscrew the back of the unit.) You turn each of the disks counter clockwise (using a small flat screwdriver) to loosen and then remove. The new bulb is inserted in the hole and locked in place with a clockwise twist. The middle photo shows the removal of the climate control unit after removing the entire unit from the dash (see various Youtube videos for that). I loosened only one side of the unit to remove the climate control box.The right most picture shows the two bundles of wiring that have to unclipped from the climate control unit to remove it from the Pilot. There are tabs on the tops of the clips that must be gently but firmly depressed to unseat the bundles from each of the connectors. Once the two connectors are disconnected, the unit can be removed from the Pilot and placed on a static-free cloth or location for further dismantling (unscrew about 6-8 small screws) to get to the location inside the unit shown on the left-most picture.I am not a car mechanic. The replacement of these bulbs requires patience and attention to detail and a willingness to NOT use brute force to do anything necessary to remove or reassemble the unit. But if you have a decent set of simple tools, you should be able to replace these bulbs without going to the dealer.

Works for 07 Pilot. Suggestions would be Qty to 6 and difficulty of securing bulbs to PCB.
So overall the bulbs work, plain and simple. However there are 2 things that aren't perfect. First, my 2007 Honda Pilot EXL has 6 bulbs, this comes in a pack of 5. Since I removed the center panels and unit, I might as well replace them with new ones for longevity (except for the one original). Secondly, these were quite difficult to twist into place. The original ones I could unscrew with a small sharp screwdriver, but these new ones I needed a pliers and grip strength to twist them into their locking positions. Scratched up the plastic a little but I made sure to stay away from the wire electrical contacts.

Not a drop in replacement bulb for a 2006 Pilot.
The Dorman 639-026 bulbs ARE NOT a replacement for the heater/A/C console. They are to long, the plastic housing is the correct length but the bulb is longer which, I think, makes them interfere with something. I will check them out when it gets dark to see if they are working.
