Works as expected, good price, quick shipping
These bottle pumps are simple devices for filling gearboxes in hard-to-reach spots or for filling from the drain hole. I bought these for changing the oil in my boat’s outboard motor’s lower unit (90° gearbox). Works perfectly for this. Makes the job easy. Good price. Quick shipping.

Works well
Used once: Worked well. The only improvement I would make would be some way to screw into the motor's lower unit without the need to turn the pump while threading...maybe some sort of union. That having been said, this is much neater and easier than the old tube-squeeze I had been doing for ever.

Saves time and oil mess
First this is 1000 times easier them squeezing a qt bottle with a hose. Filled 2 qts in under 5 minutes. To the reviews that complain about oil leaking yes some leaks out the top after a qt or so but less then an oz. the extension tube for the end in the bottle gets most and I just pour the rest into what’s left of the last bottle for next time. Anyone that changed lower gear oil is used to losing some. Adapter fits Yamaha’s bottom plug and has a o ring so it’s snug. The less than $20 price saves about 2 hours of hassle so well worth it even if you only need it 1 or 2 times. A little of a hassle to screw it in because there is no swivel but we will live.

Better than other pumps, works great
The nice thing about this Quicksilver pump is that each pump stroke will move 50-100% more oil than most other consumer brand pumps. Filling up a B1 or B3 takes 2 quarts, so this saves a lot of time and effort.
