This is my third pregnancy and it’s, possibly, my biggest baby. I got to the point that the weight of him on my bladder and organs felt like a UTI or kidney infection by the end of the day. If I wear the tape, the pain stops. I haven’t tried any on my back or anything, but there’s are some drawbacks. 1. Once you touch the stick surface, the tape loses its stickiness. So make sure to place it without touching the sticky side.2. It does tend to tear my skin up some. Not any more than the insane stretch marks that I got without it though.In all, for me, this is the best maternity purchase that I have ever made… in all 3 pregnancies… with 3 massive children.

Ok sooo I waited a while to review this I bought the tape around thanksgiving and It arrived 11/26 when I put it on it release the heaviness and weight of my 6 month belly and I made sure I moisturize my tummy before I even applied the tape base off the reviews and once I taped my tummy I felt good it’s strong and it will do it’s job I only left it on for less then 24hrs and to take it off you need a lot of oil like some coconut or very oily to break down the adhesive or you will rip your skin. so when I took it off I put the oil on and I soaked the tape with oil and I let it sit about 5 minutes and the tape came off it did leave some red marks and imprints fast forward it’s Dec 5th and I have like burn or scabs of the print of the tape still on my belly at first I was like is that stretch marks coming in and then I look closer bc it’s itchy and sure nuff is the print from the tape on my belly exactly where the tape was placed. I’m soo disappointed and I hope the scabs heal and go away and don’t turn into stretch marks sooo I just think this tape adhesive is really strong but something in the chemicals is too strong and burning and cause allergic reaction for most. I wanted to love this tape it’s very strong and will help with pain relief but the reaction is not worth it .

I tried this tape hoping it would add support while using my pregnancy belt and I was really pleased. It practically replaced the belly belt support and it’s so much lighter and comfortable!! I also pair it with belly band it booster and I can go all day without pain it’s really great !! Just a warning: do use oil to remove the adhesive tape and wait about two to three days min to do so. Remember the adhesive is made to stay on for 3 to 4 days and is waterproof which I love but it does take precautions to remove for sensitive skin.

The media could not be loaded. This product left me with so much redness and irritation after having it on for only 12 hours! The removal process was rough even after trying to soak the product as recommended. When trying to remove it, my skin was already so irritated that the oil was extremely painful. And during the pull off process I still had to use cetaphil gentle cleanser to help get it up as it wanted to take a little bit of my skin in some areas. The worst part though, was that where it caused the most irritation I developed multiple little blisters, many of which popped and I’m praying it doesn’t leave a scar.I must note that I’ve never considered myself to have sensitive skin either.Giving it a 2/5 instead of a 1/5 because when it was on the lifting of my belly did feel nice, but it wasn’t worth the irritation. Also, the adhesive is no joke. I truly believe it would have lasted for days. I know the instructions said not to pull the tape too taught or it could cause some irritation, which may have been what happened to me based on the pattern of the irritation, but it didn’t feel like I was doing so during the application process.Use at your own risk and definitely put a tester piece somewhere before applying to your belly!Update to add: it’s been over a year and I still have scars from this product 😭 and the scars look way worse than the stretch marks I got during pregnancy

i normally don’t write reviews but for this product i felt i needed to share my experience with people before they buy it. i am 20 weeks pregnant and my daughter is sitting really low causing lots of lower back pains and pelvic pain. so i got the frida mom brand because i have LOVED everything else i have tried from them. So right after applying the tape i felt immediate relief and i was shocked that it helped so much. it lasted about 2 days on me, so once taking it off i noticed it had pulled my skin off and left blisters/whelps on my skin. my belly was so irritated and sensitive because of this. i have read the reviews of others saying they had the same issues and thought it wouldn’t effect me because i’ve never had super sensitive skin. but be warned this tape gives great support but it’ll not worth the aftermath and affects in skin. i am going to be trying KT Tape instead. save your money

These work great but just make sure you follow directions on how to take it off because I ripped my skin off 🤣 user error. Other than that, my skin got irritated and itchy while these were on so you might want to do a test patch before applying an entire strip.

Not pregnant but purchased for ankle support. Great price and 100% better than sports tapes! Much better waterproof than all the big brand sports tapes I tried. I even wore these with my water shoes/socks in the swimming pool and it held up great! Great sticking power. Great price too! I also used over a foot/diabetic wound to protect it in the shower. If you are worried about removing or stick power, ask your doctor if you use “Skin Tac Wipes” before applying the tape. It helps to protect the skin under the tape.. A box of 50 wipes is pretty reasonable. This was my second order!

Unfortunately, I didn’t read the reviews before I purchased this. The support this K tape provided was AMAZING. I will say that. It helped tremendously with my back and hip pain. But I had an awful reaction to the adhesive. The first time I used it, it worked just fine. The second time, it was just very itchy. The third time? I broke out in blisters that ended up healing to look like stretch marks. I didn’t have stretch marks before using this.
