Faceted Teardrop Art Glass 4x3x8

I brought this to go on a shelf in my front room but ended up putting it in a bathroom. The picture looks like it is blue, teal, gold & light blue design & thats not accurate. It is very nice but it is blue/blackish,green & gold. I added a picture so you can see. Again, its nice looking but the colors shown in the picture are misleading. If your like me & buying this to decorate in a room that has the color scheme shown in the pic, this isn’t going to work out. I didn’t want to return it so I just put it somewhere else.

I bought it because I needed a colorful "touch" in my living room and hoped that the reviews referring to the light shining thru would be accurate. Not so. Even sitting on the window ledge, very little light is transmitted. It just sits there, dull as can be. And, by the way, I'm not one for sparkly or flamboyant displays. I just wanted a touch of color - preferably cobalt blue - in that spot. (Light is transmitted through the clear glass at the bottom and sides of the dew drop shaped structure. But very little color is evident.)

I needed something to display that would be lit from above. The colors are so dark that it just doesn’t work. If you backlight it, you do see more of the color, but it’s not as vibrant as I’d like. Also surprised to see it wasn’t round! You can lay it down flat on the side. Since I’m doing a 360 degree display, it just doesn’t work for me.

What I received is different than what is depicted here. I added a lighted pedestal(bought from Amazon) and it is now attractive enough to put on one of my etageres. Sorry for the sideways photo, I took them all at the same time, must be an Amazon issue.

This was my second attempt , the first arrived shattered , it was from another vendor . I loved it so much that I was willing to try ordering again, from another vendor . I was afraid to open because the box looked beat up. However to my surprise and delight it was perfect , these items need extra care in shipping, because Lord only know what happens from California to the east coast.

I received this today but unfortunately am having to return it. What I am seeing online (viewing from my mobile phone and two separate computers) is bluish with accents of green. What I actually received is dark emerald green with accents of dark blue and gold. It is stunningly beautiful, but unfortunately will not go with my living room decor. I gave it a decent rating because it is so beautiful although the picture online is either misleading and not accurate or I did not received the Peacock color that I had ordered.

I love the colors of this sculpture. I have it on a light stand, and the light shining up through it brings out the blue and green colors. It has some shimmering metallic (gold/copper) flecks in the design. Don't be misled - it is large: 10 inches tall by 4.5 inches wide. Much of that is clear glass, because the colored portion is only 6 inches tall, by 3 inches wide. Not sure why they call it "peacock", except if it's for the colors.

It's smaller than I thought but then I reflected on how little I paid for it and it well over exceeds my expectations. It's not a vase. It looks like it is, but it's not. It's a real colorful solid piece of glass that looks gorgeous in the light, so put it on a night stand, where there is a light or light comes through, so you can see all the beautiful colors mixed together. It's free standing. I don't know what those things on the side are in the picture because there is nothing around it or holding it up. So, it was a little misleading but then I still thought for the money, this is a great decoration!
