The quality in this product is twofold, Very well built and labeled and makes it easy to do quality work.

Waaaay better than the Stanley one that I lost and of course found but this one actually has machined edges for better precision, absolutely amazed, cause I'm using it for metal fabrication. Well worth it, 5 star product

wish the knob was a little shorter so you could use both sides of square without interference.

This carpenter square is super simple to use and with being able to set the degree and lock it in place sure saves cutting some boards that are off by a few degrees. Saves time and money by not having to scrap boards that are off. Great value for the money!

I haven't used the rafter square yet but upon receiving it, I performed an inspection of the item and noticed several qualities: it appears to be well made (from metal), the numerical inscriptions are clear and the device seems very easy to use in determining rafter angles without performing any complicated mathematics or estimates. I expect it to perform admirably for many years of future use.

Someone on a jobsite had an old version of one like this, and so I bought this due to the fact you can lock in the angle. We were building a small deck and this enabled me to lock in angles for repeat markings, and you can take the tool right over to the miter saw, set it on there, and swivel the blade until it matches the angle of the square. So much quicker than doing it the old way, as I don't have a laser line on my saw.

I find myself still grabbing for my solid cast 6" aluminum speed square.When I need a larger square, this one just isn't quick and reliable. It doesn't firmly seat at an accurate 90° angle. You have to apply pressure and finagle it. So it's slow to use, and, the way the red angle device works, it's not lined up correctly with the measurements, so you aren't getting measurements from the actual edge of the item at the angle.It seemed like it would be more versatile but I regret buying it. There are some decent use case applications but it doesn't suit my needs.

Always wanted one and not disappointed

I was very happy with this, it’s made of very tick metal and the colours and printing are vibrant and very very good. Excellent overall product, I’m very happy with this purchase, it should last many years.
