Amazing Device!
This works straight out of the box, just put in a 5G/4G SIM card and you’re off, and the upload speeds for live streaming are very fast, and download speeds are phenomenal.Highly recommended.Works with all UK networks. There’s no antenna ports, but you really don’t seem to need them.

Impressed :)
Bought this for access to 5G due to poor VDSL speeds in my area and BT...well being BT. Huge difference, went from 17mb to 500mb and latency is decent enough at 40ms. Wish i had jumped on the 5G broadband wagon earlier. I did not want to get tied down to a contract so purchasing this device was best option and sure its expensive but in the long run you will save with lower monthly bills (smarty unlimited data £16) a month. This is unlocked so it does come with Bridge mode for anyone curious about that. You can also lock the bands using 3rd party tools. All and all a good purchase. :)

Good speeds, basic interface
Livewire CPE 3 has good 4G/5G Speeds, depending on the band and signal strength near you you can easily get 100+Mbps download and 20+Mbps upload. Interface of the router is very basic. Not much to configure at all. Device itself looks fairly smart, stands tall and looks clean. This custom firmware does have a bridge option which some may find handy. Issues I kept facing with this device was frequent disconnections. I use the same carrier network on my phone and when I lost data service on WiFi I switched to 4G and never had an issue, so it shows an issue with the device. Done the usual firmware upgrade, factory reset etc however still niggly issues were causing us grief so I decided to return it in the end.

Amazing performance
Looking for a 5g router I came across this. I am glad that I did. Unbox, inset sim card, turn on the power and connect that easy. I am now enjoying 400mb speed.Amazing

Awesome 5g Router!!
Easy to set up and it connects to my ring, blink and hive systems with no problems. We don't have fibre here yet so download speed was around 3mbps! This has made a massive difference as you can see from the picture! Very pleased!

NOT recommended - Huawei and second hand
It came in what looked like new packagingBut it was second handThe Wi-Fi SSID's had been changed from the default to "Predator"That made setup require the extra step of doing a factory resetBut, I ask you, what manufacturer would set up an SSID of "Predator"No one except maybe Huawei - who make this device but hide that fact by labelling the device as LivewireSo now I'm sending all my passwords and banking details to the People's Republic of China's Communist Party External Intelligence UnitAVOID

First impressions... Amazing
So, I was a bit dubious about picking this - no one else had reviewed it and I couldn't find much about it on line. Eventually I decided it's a rebranded (or perhaps unbranded) Huawei unit; it looks very similar and has the same technology as HUAWEI H112-370 5G.Took a punt on it as I wanted to take advantage of the fact that we now have 5g at our house and, since we generally have up to 60 devices connected to wi-fi at any given time, our 4g solution was creaking at the seams. It came packed in a plain white box with a network cable and a power supply; mine also had a Smarty sim which I didn't need. There's a very short, but clear, quick start guide. The unit itself is quite big and reasonably smart, it feels well built but not premium, and I don't think there's anything about its appearance that would offend.Set-up for me couldn't have been simpler - I put the sim in, powered up and connected it to my firewall box with an ethernet cable and that was it. Within a couple of minutes, and with no intervention from me, we had much faster internet. It literally just worked. It's in the same place as our previous router but picks up a much stronger signal on 4g and the 5g signal is fine. Configuration wasn't required, but I did log in have a quick look and it seems well laid out and clear. I'm just using this as a modem but a quick test of the Wi-Fi 6 connections before I switched them off gave me c400Mbps.Our set up is this; router -> Bitdefender Box -> Netgear switch -> BT mesh wi-fi and wired devices. Everything is much more responsive now and everything seems to work. On the mesh wi-fi we get over 70Mbps all around the house.Overall then, I couldn't be more pleased; it's an expensive upgrade but one that makes a massive difference.UPDATE 04/04/2022I have upgraded my 10/100 switch with a gigabit switch since I first reviewed and this has made a massive difference to the overall performance - I now get up to 250Mbps over the mesh network, depending on contention etc. So, for an additional tenner this is a worthwhile upgrade.
