I bought this for a camping/rafting trip. It takes longer to inflate then the time listed. It does inflate to approximately 4 inches. However, it definitely loses air while sleeping on it. Overall, I'm glad I purchased it.

So, this mat is comfortable, easy to inflate, and relatively packable. It really deserves 5 stars, I like it. However I used the mat for the first time on a camping trip this weekend, and it went flat. I set it out a few hours before I even laid on it, and I had to pump it up before bed. In the morning when I was achy from my bed being completely flat I discovered a little hole with a little circle of taught fabric around it. I carefully inspected my tent around where the hole was, but there were no holes in my tent or anything sharp under it and I didn’t have sharp gear in my tent, so I really don’t see how it’s possible that it got a hole. The bag also is completely unharmed so there’s no possibility something poked it in my backpack. I was able to fix it with the patch kit that was sent with it but it’s really disappointing that I was sent a “new” bag with a hole in it. I’ve been leaving it pumped up after patching it to make sure it’s holding air before I use it again and I’ve been letting my 68lb dog and cats lay and walk on it and it’s been fine with claws for over 24 hours now, so it’s obviously pretty durable. Idk what happened. I’d still buy it again but I’d DEFINITELY test it out before I go anywhere with it.

Family member took this camping at scouts. Great size. He said it was simple to pump up and deflate. He rolled it back up. We put large zip ties around it for extra support to keep it rolled up. Because he lost the bag.

Leaked on first nighttime use. Beyond our return window so a waste of money.Update: So after a night of having to repump every hour, we used it again (better than sleeping on hard floor as we had no other option). This time it held air! Not sure why: stretching out or one way valve issue that first night. Either way, I'll take it.

Love this mat!!! They are crazy fast and easy to inflate and deflate. They are super compact and light weight. Most of all they are comfortable and stay inflated! The pillow isn't much of a pillow, but to me it was just a bonus anyhow. My favorite part is that you can snap them together. A great feature when using with another person, or like us, a family of campers. I loved that I could snap them together so that the mats didn't slide out from under us, and it eliminated my kid being able to push me off my mat. If you camp or backpack, I totally recommend this mat. Great mat with a great price point!

I really didn’t expect this do because as comfy as it was! We slept four days in a tent in the Adirondacks and I woke refreshed and with no aches at all! I love that they snap together to make a bigger bed.Great purchase! Got one for all three sons as well.

The material the mattress is made of feels sightly weird on skin.. One would need a thick covering to be put on the mattress to feel comfortable..
