Excellent upgrade
I’m so pleased with this! I’d used a Brita filter for, well, forever, and I honestly was just really ignorant about different types of filters and what they even do. I moved up to New England a few years ago and the rental I’m in is in a very old building that absolutely hasn’t been updated in most ways. I started looking into things like old plumbing in structures like this and boy, what a rabbit hole that was. I decided it would be best to upgrade my water filter so it would help eliminate the oh-so-many things in these very old pipes, and decided on this one because it was within my budget and seemed very effective. I love that it’s a glass container instead of plastic. It’s a little smaller than my old one, but that’s no big deal. I’ve gotten in the habit of filling it up a little at a time while doing other things in the kitchen. Is it slower than my Brita? Yep. I’ve seen other reviews complaining about it. But I don’t mind at all. It’s a dual filtration system and that means yes, it takes a little longer. If anything, that just makes me feel even better about its efficacy. I’m someone who sips on ice water all day and my kitties have a large fountain that I fill using this as well, so it’s put to great use! And I know it likely sounds crazy, but the water tastes better. I’m sure some of it is psychological, which hey, fine lol. But it just tastes cleaner, crisp, and more like absolutely nothing. It’s wonderful. Highly recommend! Edit to add: The bigger filter is an absolute PAIN to remove when cleaning/maintaining the pitcher regularly (and replacing the filter itself once a year or so). This part specifically would definitely benefit from a redesign. But still, overall, I’m keeping my rating the same. Hope they reevaluate this one thing in future models.

Worth Every Penny for Clean, Tasty & Healthy Water
This is my second LifeStraw Glass Water Filter Pitcher and I absolutely love it. I wanted a second glass filter pitcher to make my coffee and cold brew from. I can't tell you how awful my local water tastes, smells and looks. I have had the water tested several times and the water company always says it is fine, but still, it smells of chemicals and chlorine, plus my bath water is almost always brown. (No breaks in the water line, hot water heater clean, and fire dept not testing out fire hydrants.) I was barely drinking any water at all because I found the water so disgusting & I am paranoid about drinking from bottled water. Then I got my first LifeStraw Glass Water Filter Pitcher last fall and once again, drinking much better tasting and better looking water. I feel better knowing that it is removing the chemicals, the unnecessary things like lead and mercury, pesticides, PFAS, microplastics, bacteria, and other gunk that I don't want to be drinking. Yes, it takes time to filter the water, but considering everything that is getting filtered out of the water, I don't have an issue with it. I really wish that LifeStraw would make a larger, glass high capacity dispenser and possible figure out a way for the filter container to also be glass as I have tried to remove all plastic (including BPA plastic) out of my life. A 10 cup LifeStraw Glass Water Filter Pitcher would also be nice and I would also love a silicone lid to go on top of the filter for those days that the glass filter is not in the fridge. Anyway, this product is worth every penny and really buys peace of mind when it comes to knowing that I am drinking clean water.

Couldn't be more disappointed !!!!
I could not be more disappointed in this Lifestraw Pitcher. I followed the Initial Setup/Cleaning process and then filled the Filter Housing with water. After all of the water was filtered and now in the glass Pitcher, I couldn't believe my eyes - there was only about 3/4 of an inch of water in the Pitcher. I repeated the Process (thinking that maybe the first time that water runs thru the filter, that the filter absorbs a tremendous amount of water) in the hopes that much more water will end up in the Pitcher after the 2nd Fill - but again there was only about 3/4 of an inch of water in the Glass Pitcher. I tried it a 3rd time and same result. I sent an email to Lifestraw and was sure that this was a defective unit and that the replacement would work as I expected, but I just got a response back from Lifestraw, and they said that there's nothing wrong with the unit, that this is how it works. As I said earlier, I could not be more disappointed. That's ridiculous - I would probably have to fill the Filter Housing about 8 times to get a full Pitcher (with 7 Cups of water, which is what this Pitcher is rated) and it was taking almost a half hour to filter the water each time I filled the Filter Housing, so 8 Fill x 30 minutes each time would mean that it would take about 4 hours each day to get a Pitcher of water. That's insane. The Product is going back. I really wanted it to work. I don't know how anyone could find this acceptable.

Pretty good water pitcher with a couple drawbacks
We switched from an older Zero Pitcher. This pitcher is pretty heavy and has a rubber bottom. The water tastes good and the two types of filter do a good job. The two things that I dont really like are the 1. Water needs to go in the lid that has a little flap that opens when you pour water in. It can spill off the side 2. The filter portion isn't very big so it takes multiple fills to get it 3/4 full *Update I have had this pitcher for a couple months and the water started to filter slower than usual. I figured this was an indicator to change the carbon filter. Swapped it out and works fine now. The instructions say that the large middle membrane filter is good for a year or two , not quite there yet

Effective, tasty water -- an exceptional filter & pitcher
I love water. I hate plastic and China. So after a ton of research I found this product. Made in South Korea. The tap water pours into the filter, inside a hard plastic shell that sits atop the glass pitcher. Water passes through the filter and is stored into the glass pitcher. I only fill the pitcher up so the fresh, filtered water remains below the plastic shell insert (and hence, is not touching it.). When I pour a glass of filtered water, I add some tap water to the top of the filter area, and by the time I've finished that glass, there is new water ready to go. I store the pitcher in the fridge. I am in the seventh month of using this daily. Works perfectlya nd the water is super perfect with absolutely zero wierd taste. I have never changed any filter (yet... am here to purchase some bc I kept wondering when I need to do that!) The water is exquisite. In comparison -- sometimes I have filled my waterglass from the fridge with its own separate expensive water filter. And while that water tastes "OK," if I leave it on say my desk or countertop for a couple hours, and then go to drink it, I can taste the chlorine like I'm drinking water from the pool. So disgusting. The LifeStraw glass pitcher water poured into a glass tastes just as good hours later. Hence, I deduce that it is doing its job. So glad to be avoiding microplastics. I am going to buy a portable one now, too. Highly recommend. The company website and the Amazon site, however, are really annoying, constantly pushing the narrative that they give filters to African children. They don't need to stoop low and shill for a pat on the back from the woke libs. The filter and the glass pitcher speaks for itself and is an amazing product.

Clean Taste, Beautiful Design, and Worth the Slower Initial Filtering
I bought this LifeStraw Home water filter pitcher for my apartment during grad school since the water quality in my area isn’t the best, and I’ve been really happy with it overall. One of the main reasons I chose this was the glass pitcher. I like that it reduces the amount of plastic in contact with my water, and it just feels cleaner and more premium compared to typical plastic pitchers. The silicone base is also a nice touch since it helps prevent slipping and protects surfaces. The water tastes really good, noticeably cleaner and fresher compared to straight tap water. It’s reassuring knowing that it’s designed to filter out a wide range of contaminants, which was a big priority for me. One thing to keep in mind is that the filtering process is a bit slow at first. The first few uses take longer to fill up, just like the instructions mention, but it does get better over time. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of if you’re expecting instant results. It’s also easy to use day-to-day, and the size is perfect for keeping in the fridge without taking up too much space. Overall, I think it’s a great upgrade from more common and popular water filter pitchers. It looks better, feels higher quality, and does a great job improving water taste and quality.

A Fix for Well Water
I absolutely love this pitcher. Yes, I know that it filters slowly. I figure if the water ran right through it, it wouldn't be doing much filtering. And for this product, the water runs through two filters. I've home-tested it after filtering, and it certainly cleans up my well water. We spent years drinking bottled water, and now, we don't need to buy that anymore. And since I ;purchased the glass version, I feel very good about limiting our exposure to plastics. I just filter my water and pour it into a glass decanter and a couple of quart mason jars. I guess the best thing I can say about it is, since we have health conditions that require we use a lot of water (I use it for cooking, too), I'm anxiously waiting for a sale so I can buy a second one.

Love the Filtration… Hate the Waiting
I originally ordered this pitcher here but unfortunately received one that appeared to have been used, so I returned it. I ended up repurchasing the same pitcher directly from LifeStraw so I could still give it a try. I love the idea behind the filtration system and how much it’s designed to filter out, but the reviews about it being slow are definitely accurate in my experience. It takes a long time to filter, and it feels like you get very little usable water at a time. I really wish the pitcher were designed to hold and filter more water because I otherwise really like the concept. I’m torn on this one. I like the filtration and what the product is designed to do, but the slow filtering and limited amount of water make it inconvenient enough that I’m not sure I would purchase it again.

Quality construction, glass body and water quality.
Super happy with this water filter jug, it is a bit slow to filter but would rather that to have better quality water. Beautiful taste, soft and clean, zero normal tap water taste. Glass is the only way to go, only wish the filters weren't so expensive but again the water quality is top notch -I will REALLY know this after getting the water analyzed in a week time but am very happy so far). If it does actually remove micro plastics will be the big one for me (as it claims).

Niente filtri di ricambio
Non vendono i filtri al carbone di ricambio quindi diventa inutile.

No more micro-plastics :)
I love this. So much nicer drinking water when I know the bad stuff has been taken out, micro plastics particularly.

Very pleased with this sturdy jug
Very pleased with this double filter system that removes microplastics in addition to harmful chemicals and microbes. Nice tasting water too! A good option for those who don’t want or don’t have space for an under sink RO filter system.
