Street Fighter Anniversary Edition Arcade Stick (PS2 & Xbox)

The control panel is excellent and the artwork is beautiful. However, the joystick is a Happ/IL Lorenzo industry standard clone manufactured by Bao Lian China. It is cheaply made and of very low quality; it can and should be replaced with a Happ competition joystick like those found at [...]. The pushbuttons that originally come with the arcade controller are unlike the ones found on most Street Fighter Arcade coin ops in the US and should also be replaced due to lack of sensitivity. They should be replaced by Happ competition convex Japanese style pushbuttons. Both the joystick and buttons should have cherry microswitches instead of the ones that originally come with the arcade controller. The circuit board can and should be replaced with a Sony brand Playstation 1 controller circuit board. These can be found on ebay for around $[...]. With some basic soldering skills you should be able to swap the original circuit board for the Playstation one controller circuit board.The circuit board that originally comes with the arcade controller is buggy with Playstation one games. For example, while playing Street Fighter Collection 2 for Playstation one, at random moments in gameplay, you will lose complete control over your character. Also, when using a Playstation to Dreamcast converter like the EMS Total Control Plus to play Marvel Vs Capcom 1 and 2, no matter what character you choose, the game will automatically select Ryu and he will always end up being your first character/player by default [it sounds weird but it's true...I know from personal experience]. The only way to avoid this without having to solder your wires to a new circuit board is to open up the control panel from the bottom and rearrange the quick disconnects on the terminals so that the top row of four punch buttons goes like this--L2, square, triangle, L1--and the bottom 4 kick buttons looks like this--R2, X, O, R1. You should then set your EMS Dreamcast converter switch to the middle. This setup will bring character selection back to normal and allow you to avoid having to replace the circuit board [as long as you don't play any Playstation one games]. I don't know about Xbox compatibility, but all Playstation 2 games that I've played using this controller (Street fighter Anniversary Collection, Capcom vs Snk 2, Street Fighter Alpha Anthology) and Dreamcast games (Marvel vs Capcom 1 and 2) have worked just fine with this setup.I'm passionate about Street Fighter games and have been since the early 1990's. If you want to bring back the days of pumping quarters into Street Fighter 2: World Warrior arcade machine at an American Mall arcade, this arcade controller has the potential to help you do just that.Take Care.

Not accurate with the photo,cable attached with tape,no original box like the photo,no manuals nothing,just a regular box and paper inside,very disappointing,I decided to return the product,very sad.

Picked this bad boy up for only $35 from a local seller in my town, and I love it. Built strong, beautiful artwork and great functionality. The cabinet is heavy duty and looks and feels premium. I'm using on my modded original xbox which is packed with thousands of arcade games, and this arcade stick gives you that in arcade style feel. I'm lucky to have scored this currently rare arcade stick at such an awesome price. If you can find one at a great price like me, I highly recommend it.
