Original grimms. European quality. It does smells when you open the package but it literally goes away in a matter of hours away.

Wonderful toy for the youngest of children! My 8 month old grandson even loves to play with these. May seem a little expensive for a toy, but will last forever. If you find the wood a little rough when you first get it, just take brown packing paper or a brown shopping bag and use it like sand paper on the toy. It will take all that roughness away and make it a more smooth surface without taking any color off the toy, easy fix!

Very nice looking, quality, open ended toy. Nice addition to our Montessori style play room. Some parts are a little rough but another reviewer said to rub them with crumpled paper and it actually helped smooth it out.

We own all of the different sizes and in my opinion, this rainbow is the best bang for your buck. The mini is really cute but it's pretty tiny and nearly the same amount as this one. The big one is cool and will be fun as my son gets older and wants to build more perhaps but it's twice the price.

I am a montessori mom & love the grimm's rainbow. This medium sized one is well made, durable & is functional for toddler development or even nursery decor!

Seems like a very creative toy. However the smell was too strong and the wood was not a smooth finish. Was able to get little splinters off. How is that safe for a toddler?

I was really excited about this product, looked super cute for decor for my nusery but he product had a very strong odour (could be off gassing) so was not comfortable putting it in the nursery or letting my baby use it. Smell was very very strong and bad.

Schaut nicht nur gut aus, sondern riecht auch sehr angenehm natürlich. Für krabbelkinder die noch alles in den Mund nehmen bestens geeignet, da das Holz sehr weich ist. Super auch zum greifen und stapelnüben.

Zur Art des Spielzeugs muss man vermutlich nicht viel sagen: Unendliche kreative Spielmöglichkeiten, wie es sein sollDer Regenbogen an sich ist sehr sauber verarbeitet und hat abgerundete/angeschrägte Kanten, was mir sehr gut gefällt. Allerdings wirkte das Holz überhaupt nicht geölt. Ich habe es mit einem guten Olivenöl abgerieben und nun fühlt es sich deutlich geschmeidiger an. Außerdem dunkelt es durch das Ölen angenehm nach und sieht viel hübscher aus. An sich ist das Ölen natürlich kein großer Aufwand, aber bei einer so bekannten Firma und keinem Schnäppchenpreis hätte ich schon erwartet, dass das Holzspielzeug "fertig" ankommt. Negativ war außerdem die Verpackung: in Plastik verschweißt und ohne extra Karton. Das passt weder zum Image von Grimms, noch eignet es sich zum ästhetischen verschenken. Da das Produkt ansonsten top ist gibt es 4 verdiente Sterne.

Ours came in faulty, feeling 'wet' to touch (that peculiar sensation of wet wood that has been drying for a few days) and dark on the flat surfaces (in patches). The smell is strong'ish, but it's very 'woody' and not at all unpleasant.A few food grade colourings (incl. Green Village, if I remember correctly, left from a previous project) - et voila! ici - rainbow in colour, and what a joy for a child to have completed such a task!But the dark is still showing through, though I must admit, it was only one application and that of a stain not dye.Now, after a few weeks, I can tell you this little toy is a perfect indicator of the humidity levels in your home. It always feels wet if left overnight in the kitchen area, and is perfectly dry if left in the nursery.

Mal von heruch abgesehen ist der bigen gut verarbeitet. Keine schwarfen Kanten und alles passt gut zusammen.
