Quit retracting…
Really nice looking tape measure. Easy to read but after only two weeks or so it failed to retract. I’m very reluctant to order another one.

Practical
The engineer scale lets you read at the tenth of an inch, and if you drop it, don’t worry, this thing is built like a Nokia, good tape measure.

Grade checking engineer tape, not mechanical scale
I didn't check it out well enough before buying. I needed mechanical engineer scale tape. I measure to the ten thousandths for aircraft. I wish the listing mentioned it is for grade checking. Now it sits on my tool cart collecting actual dust and dirt. My mistake, so I'll keep it.
