Care Science Copper Infused Kinesiology Tape, 40 Precut Strips, 2 Rolls

I have been using this brand for a year now. I am a Physical Therapsit, marathon runner, cyclist, and other outdoor enthusiast. This is hands down the best tape I have found, especially for the price (my second favorite is rock tape, but it is very pricy). FYI- this is very sticky. If you have sensitive skin, you may not like this because it can sting taking it off and it often leaves a residue you have to scrub off. However, I will gladly endure that because this stays on much longer and doesn’t fray as bad as other tape. Overall, it works much better than KT tape and other brands. I also swim and the tape works well in the pool, however it does not survive the hot tub for any length of time. Of course proper skin prep (make sure the area is clean, wiping with Alcohol works well, DRY, and shaved) is an absolute must. Don’t apply over skin if they have applied oil or lotion. I can’t stress enough that you are wasting your time and money if you don’t properly prep the skin. I constantly have kids at my sons’ school who are in the athletic department who want me to tape them after they have started a work out, and tape simply doesn’t stick if they are already sweaty, have dusty legs, or have very hairy legs (plus did I mention how this stings taking it off shaved legs… this will downright hurt if you put it on over hairy legs and it happens to stick….which is kind of comical watching grown men who insisted I tape them pull off the tape. This is a 2 pack and are precut strips. If you haven’t used therapy tape before you need to watch on-line videos over how to properly apply. You should watch several videos, because some have inaccurate information. This review is for the Black/Copper infused tape. I recently tried the tan and it does not stick as well. Good luck! This is my first time using this brand. Didn’t know anything about it and I even didn’t read any comments. What caught my eye was the total length but even still the tape was cut up in 10” segments. I was thinking that’s about the length I use on my shoulders. I’m a retired heavy duty diesel equipment mechanic and my shoulders give me issues from time to time just in my daily routine. So I purchased it this morning and received it by 1pm. I’m writing this review just after applying the tape and it’s totally awesome. I don’t have to cut the tape and everyone knows what a hassle that can be. The 10” segments have all 4 corners rounded . So far it’s working great and I have oily skin. I’m tickled pink with this product in that I’ve used several different brands over the years. I love the 10” segments because they are so convenient for me. Applying this tape has been made so much easier for me. I got to do it all myself because I live alone and the hole process can be a bit of a pain applying tape. This is going to be my go to tape in the future, this from a satisfied customer writing this review in a lot less pain right after applying this tape, it’s absolutely amazing to me👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Helps with pain relief, very sticky though and harder to get off than the tape they use in PT. Some skin irritation after being on for a few days, but the pain relief does make up for that some. Pre-cut strips are great, but a little long if you don’t need them for big areas. Easier if someone else puts them on for you

Heavy duty, stays put even after shower.

I’ve used this for over a month now, and it has helped me a lot. I’m 24 and working in construction, so when I started having severe pain in my lower back, I decided to give this a try. The tape looks exactly as in the pictures, black with a design on it. The size is medium. I have had no skin irritation while using it, however this will differ person by person. I wear it for three days then change it, and it has given me a lot of relief. You can shower with no problems, it sticks really well. Don’t however, stick it while stretching your muscles too tightly, as it will pull your skin when you move and trust me, NO FUN. This product does not replace medical visits if severe pain occurs, however it’s been pretty useful for me, so I’ll absolutely recommend trying it!

Not as good as KT but it does mostly get the job done. I've noticed this tape makes me sweat which is odd to me. Either it doesn't breathe enough or whatever materials they use. Which brings me to the next complaint as it doesn't stick as well as the big name brand. Not sure if it's because whatever is in it making me sweat or just inferior adhesive. Also this tape frays a lot more. I'm always having extra strings hanging. Its a little harder to get the backing off and the fabric feel is also not as silky smooth. Its a little rough and clothing doesnt glide over it as easily which can attribute to some of the reason it doesnt stay on as well. And lastly the pattern is not nearly as prominent as in the picture. It's a very dull barely noticeable copper pattern. Not that it's a big deal but that's one of the reasons I picked this one is it looked really cool. But you can't see it well unless it's right in front of your face. Otherwise as long as it sticks I do still get the same relief as the big name brand. The price kind of makes up for the cons but I think I'll just stick to the real deal since it stays on almost twice as long. Depending on the part of the body and how much traffic it gets I will get anywhere from only 8 hours to about 2 days.
