I grew up wearing Dr. Scholl’s wooden sandals in the 80’s so I knew I liked the feel of wood on my feet.I recently had lumbar spinal fusion surgery and one of my caregivers suggested wooden clogs for support style and comfort post surgery. I was completely skeptical and after getting these shoes I am convinced wood is the way!

I own another pair of this brand's clogs and love them. These are super cute but I can only guess they are either defective or made for a very very specific type of foot (completely flat?). I have worn Mary Janes my whole life and have never once had a problem with the angle strap fitting, I don't have large ankles and am an average size person, and I typically wear an ankle strap at the middle hole or so. These are cut so oddly and short that the end of the strap doesn't even reach across my foot to the buckle. Additionally, the navy blue item is not as shown in the picture where it has a brass buckle. The shoe I received had a cheap-looking silver buckle. I returned them as defective because I cannot imagine what foot physiology these would even ever work for.

These are a very lovely navy blue and fit great, but the first pair I bought, I went true to size. I'm a 7.5 US which means a 38 should have fit right. As another review mentioned, while the shoe fit well on my foot, the strap connected in a weird way around the ankle. Since I ordered via Prime, I went ahead and got the next size down just to see & lo & behold, perfect fit. So if you get these and the strap lays weird on your ankle, try one size down- it effects WHERE the strap lies on your foot. Also, as other reviews mentioned, the buckle is cheap feeling. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I'll get some good wear out of these before it breaks, but I would bet good money that the buckle will be the first thing to go. I hope someone from the company sees this & changes their buckle provider to the ones Lotta of Stockholm uses b/c for this price, they should invest in better sourced hardware.

I really wanted these clogs to work. They are a beautiful blue leather, and I liked the quality of the wood used for the clog itself. Also, thrilled that they had a clear sealer on the wood unlike other brands I’ve seen recently. Unfortunately, the buckles are the cheapest part of the shoe. They literally broke within the first five minutes of me trying them on. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of a return so I tried to fix them myself with pliers. Unfortunately, the second time I tried to wear them they broke again. I realized if I was to use the pliers again on such a cheap, soft metal, they were likely to break completely. I decided to return them before I got stuck with a relatively expensive shoe that was unusable.

I love love these shoes I'm so glad that I got them they are very comfortable and I would recommend it to anybody who is thinking of getting a pair they are a great shoe. This shoe size is what it is so if you wear a 8 then I would recommend getting an eight size is the size it says.

I have not yet worn these and the sliver buckle has fallen off - leather is very stiff and uncomfortable. Do not recommend.

The strap broke at the clasp within the first hour of second wearing. : (
