Great recorder at a decent price.
Extremely fast shipping! Easy to use, long battery life, long recording time. Excellent audio, nice microphone. Compact, easy to carry and use. Perfect for interviews or recording folks around a conference table. Nothing fancy, just really nice mono recorder. I used the transcribing feature windows 11 to transfer playback audio from ICD PX370 to my PC with an external microphone and into LibreOffice Writer (similar to Microsoft Office Word, but free).

Great digital voice recorder
I've bought several other small digital voice recorders, and had problems with all of them. This one WORKS! It has lots of good features that make it easy to use. I'm starting to read the user's manual that came with it now, but I've been using it with no problems since I took it out of the box, it is that simple to use. I've transferred files to my computer, deleted files, etc. and have not come across a menu in Chinese yet! One of the other recorders that I bought (and subsequently returned) got stuck on a menu in Chinese and I couldn't get it back to English. The buttons are laid out well and are easy to operate. There is a battery indicator on the screen at all times so that you can see when it's getting close to needing new batteries--no surprises. I record voice with it, and the speaker on the recorder is good, although plugging in headphones makes the voice even clearer. Another thing that I like about it is that when you go to delete a file, it starts playing the file so that you are sure which file it is. Nice. It also would accept an external mic, and has a "hold" feature which locks out all buttons so that if you have it in your pocket, it will not be affected by inadvertent bumps. If this one quits working I'll buy another one of these. Finally, I have one that works!

I like it.. good little East to use good sounding and recording portable easy to work recorder
Works very good. The instructions could be better. And it does feel a little cheap for 60 bucks but so I'm all it works good. It does what it's suppose to do. Let good portable small pocket sized recorder. Good battery life pretty easy to navigate though wish the instructions didn't leave stuff out like allot of the different options or scenes. But decent recorder

Efficient and good quality
I really dig it, it does what I need it to do! ๐ I like that the USB plug is in the device, that way cables don't get lost or broken.

Excellent
Bought these for use in a store to document customer interactions. Has excellent pickup and is easy to use, quickly hitting record as customers come in. Its also easy to carry as it weighs nothing. I do change out rechargeable batteries on them every...10 hours or so? The file system is easy to use and reference. Has come in handy on multiple occasions of proving what was said, on one occasion providing evidence in a criminal case that involved an assault.

Super handy, easy, intuitive, great record time, excellent qualtiy with extra useful features
I own two of these, they are so useful. One is for recording speakerphone calls and daily notes, the other is for impromptu music session recordings. The best thing is you can just power it on (it is ready in a few seconds) and press the red record button and you are recording. The audio files can be stored in 3 different bit-rates so you can choose between maximum storage or highest quality. I use the lowest quality for phone calls and notes and the highest for music. It is nice and small so easy to carry around. With the built in 4 gig memory you can get a ridiculous amount of voice-quality recording time, like 190 hours, but you can even add SD storage I think 32 GB. The mic is mono, but you may be able to plug in a stereo mic and make stereo recordings at the two higher bit rates (needs to be verified). If you need a stereo mic, there is a px470 version for more money which also has more features, like more file formats. The px370 records MP3 files. It is very easy to transfer them to a computer, just slide out the USB connector and plug it into a USB slot of your computer. The first time you'll have to hunt for the files in the folder system, then it's easy to drag and drop or copy/paste in Windows. Even the lowest quality audio is very good, making very clear voice recordings. At highest quality, you can make some very good quality music recordings. I plug in a dynamic microphone for quick session recording with my guitar and voice. It is good enough for practice, very decent quality. There is no bluetooth connection, but you can use an audio cable to connect to a powered speaker for amplification. Or you can plug in headphones. I connect to a small Bose speaker by cable for listening to music. The settings give you good control over recording with 3 volume settings for the internal or external microphone (or auto volume control), 3 bit rates, you can turn on-off VOR (voice activated recording). You can set up several folders to record your audio to, although I just use one and backup my files to my computer regularly. The files are named by the date and time of the recording, which is handy so you won't overwrite previously saved files. There are plenty of other file management options you can explore to help you use it as a memo recorder. For me, the basic simplicity, efficient use of memory, small size and battery life is the major appeal. Just turn it on and hit record. Even though phone apps can probably do much of the same functions, having a dedicated recorder means I actually use it rather than dealing with a slippery, touchy phone that isn't handy. I find the px370 very well designed and useful.

Maybe not the best file delete or find features
To my estimation this is a solid little device. Great file transfer capability. Record, Pause and Play obvious and easy. No instructions needed. Having more than a causal history with hand recorders I have a couple of 'personal' reservations. For instance. To delete a file. Press Options >>>> get menu>>>>scoll to delete file; file it will delete plays >>> confirm delete with yes or no selection. There is also an option to delete all files .... once you get to it. More to my liking is a model with a delete bottom on board. One press deletes file. Two presses deletes all files in a folder. Which brings up folders. Some other models have a folder botton on board. This makes it very easy to move between folders before a given recording. Different subjects. Different folders. Yeh, sure. Lastly. Again, to my estimation the recording 'stamp' on a file displayed on the screen is awkward at best. Okay. It's basically indecipherable. More convenient is to show the file date. To me three stars means worth the money. Does not indicate a re buy. Too much unecessary 'clicking' for my type of use. Your mileage may vary. Stay Safe and be Vigilant.

Great and easy to use!
I got this recorder for my elderly dad who is technology illiterate. Its super easy to use, just press record or stop to record audio! Even if another menu item is selected (eg options) it will still record! Pros: - From a major brand. - Takes AA batteries so you dont have to deal with built-in battery failing to hold a charge after a year or two. - Sturdy construction. - Lots of features. - Sensitive mic. - Build in USB port that slides out from the body so you can connect it directly to a computer to take files off of it! Cons: - The audio quality on the voice recorded itself is really bad, but you'd only really listen to audio on it to verify that your recording is audible. Move the files to the computer instead.
