Requires skill & patience
Very nice product! I was excited to have this instead of my steering wheel that has been worn out at the top. It definitely requires a skill set that I didn't have if you want it to look nice. I had to order more 0.5mm thread, because I redid it 3 times until I finally thought it looked acceptable. I would also recommend using maybe contact cement instead of the double sided tape. I'm not sure if it's because I live in FL or what, but the double sided tape had already let go by the next morning. And I cleaned the steering wheel very thoroughly before I started. If I ever do it again I will use some kind of strong adhesive. All in all, just set aside several hours dedicated to this project. I also recommend taking it out of the car. It's worth it in the long run.

Long, arduous, but worth it
I was definitely nervous before I started the install as I wanted this to come out more or less perfect, but just take your time installing and it should come together pretty well. I would suggest that you fit the leather into the crevices of the steering wheel before you start sewing; I felt that it would have been far easier to do that first than after. It lined up about 95% of the way, and to someone not paying close attention, I'd say it looks professionally done. I would also suggest you take off the steering wheel from the car as it makes manuvering and sewing far easier. Just don't do what I did and destroy your clockspring in the process. Ultimately, I'm satisfied with the product, and I think it looks great - far better than the peeling plastic that it was before.

Wonderful and tricky project
This was a time-consuming DIY project but the material is of excellent quality (genuine leather) and it looks very neat. I give this product a 5/5 rating. It does take time to put together (several hours) but I found it fun at the same time, using a video on youtube as my guide rather than the tutorial video or the instructions (I found them to not be as helpful). Also, I did as several people recommended and only used the 2-sided tape at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock and also very sparingly, and as needed, in between. Great product, very very satisfied with it.

Did not work
2015 Honda Civic, I tries to install it, however, it was extremely small, I tried to stretch it but didn't really work even after a few hours. It looked so tight that I thought it was going to break! Its not an exact fit in. I repeat, its not an exact fit in.

Don’t buy
This product doesn’t completely fit the steering wheel which makes it look unprofessional from the beginning. The tucking tool (yellow) should have been longer to tuck it better. I’ve watch many YouTube videos and the tool that was given wasn’t suitable for this project. Also the beginning threads were coming off which is how you get a tight stitch…Try to tie it back together myself but it ended up being to short to tie it up, so it taped it up.I would say don’t buy this product. Some odd reason other steering wheel diys fit way better on other cars besides the Honda

Really good kit for the money.
For the money, this kit was well worth it. I did remove the steering wheel from the car and removed the buttons and all plastic pieces instead of just tucking the leather under them. I also used Dap landau top and trim high temp adhesive instead of the two sided tape that they provide. I had to restitch a couple areas to pull the seam tighter. You have to pull it really tight to close the seam gap but they do close up.

Happy, but not perfect.
Overall I'm happy. But beware. This installation isn't as easy as it looks. The instructions have pictures but they were not for my exact car and are in broken English. I found a video on YouTube but it had no commentary or tips. They made it look really easy in the video. Obviously they've installed many. I recommend not using any tape on the areas between spokes. That way you can close the gap fully when stitching. The tape prevented that on mine. As you can see at the bottom of the wheel, I had a hard time trying to get the sides of the spoke to tuck in. I gave up. Same with the thumb pad protrusions. Couldn't get those to tuck. Also, the instructions say the thread should be about 5 times the distance between spokes. I had better luck with 6 times. Still, it looks a thousand times better and feels awesome. The leather is good quality. I'll add to this if I have any issues later.Update: I've been driving with it for two weeks. Love it. It seems to have tightened up where the gap is. Looks much better. Probably because of the heat while sitting in the sun. I'm going to keep it 4 stars but I recommend it.

Great Steering Wheel Cover Honda 2015
I used this product to replace my previous 4 year worn out steering wheel cover , it only took about 3.5 hrs for me to complete, the kit arrived with everything you would need. So after looking at videos on the internet I decided to do it myself and I even used the double-sided tape -it can be done you just need to take your time and be patient-it’s great leather and it was a little hard to stretch out. The main thing is to position it correctly and only peel off the tape in certain spots so it does not move-I was very pleased even though I didn’t get it exactly perfect- but it looks great and I’m glad I purchased it- it could have been a bit cheaper. Thanks

Not for the average DIYer
Took a lot of time to install and still doesn’t look professional but the material is of good quality.
