Intex 12-Foot by 30-Inch Ocean Reef Easy Set Pool Set

We have a 2 year old son who is obsessed with water. I wanted to get a pool that I could sit in with him because it gets hot in Georgia. I didn't want to spend too much so I thought this was big enough for the price. We have been in it everyday since we got it. I was actually able to set it up by myself with no problem. You do need either an air compressor or the foot pump to blow up the top ring. Once you make sure it's a perfect circle you fill it up with water and about 3 hours later it was ready for swimming. It is a pretty big pool. We had about 6 people (1 adult with 5 kids) ages ranging from 28-2 in it with room to spare. It's a great little pool for the yard. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a pool thats not too expensive for children.

We got this pool just a few weeks ago and it has been great fun for our family. Its just big enough to float around and play in but doesn't take up the whole back yard. It was easy to set up and took just a little over 2 hours to fill. We put a solar cover on it and after 2 days it was nice and warm. We love this little pool!

I purchased this pool just about two weeks ago on Amazon. When I set it up the rim had a hole near the seam and I have spent the entire time trying to get this small hole patched following all the directions that came with the unit and patch kit. Even tried using a PVC Glue and the vinyl patch that came with it and I thought it had to seal with this stuff, blew it up and this morning it is completely flat again. Lost over 200-300 gallons of water initially on setup as I did not expect a new unit would come with a hole. I purchased this on Amazon to replace the same type unit I had had for over two years that finally got a leak that I couldn't seal and most recommendations seen online said just buy a new one......what a mistake as I bought the same problem I had originally only worse. Should have bought one of the Intex Metal Frame types instead. I will never purchase one that depends on a blow up ring to keep it upright. I don't even see an option on Amazon Prime account to advise of a defect unit, but can you imagine having to pack this back up to ship it all the way from the Cayman Islands.......in the garbage and money lost!!

This pool is great. Easy to set up, big enough for a few adults to sit in and my daughter to splash around. My daughter is only 1 1/2 and can stand without the water going over her head. I set it up in about 30 minutes by myself (I already had a flat surface and put some sand and a tarp down). My only complaint is that the pump for the filter is so weak, I don't think it does much. Might look into buying something more powerful.

I was looking for a pool for my 5 yr. old granddaughter, I looked at this one, the 12' "easy set" and the 12' metal frame and decided that the easy set would be good enough for her. I was very disappointed in the quality of the easy set, the vinyl bladder is very thin and I kept having to blow it up every day. Then I came home from work one day and about half the water had leaked out, that's when I decided to do something different. I called and spoke to Amazon Cust. Serv. and they were very understanding and had no problem with taking it back, so I returned it and stepped up to the metal frame, only a few dollars more but a much more quality product. If you're on the fence trying to decide which one to get, take my word and spend a few extra dollars and get the metal frame. It has turned out to be much more of a pool than I ever expected for the money, the whole family is enjoying getting in and relaxing with plenty of room.

Although my ground is not level (probably a good 2-3 inches difference from one side to the other) it has held the water in just fine, even with the abundance of rain we have had practically every day since I bought it. The pump that comes with it didn't seem to suck much and wasn't powerful enough to run a skimmer so I had to buy a more powerful one. Also my top inflatable ring seems to constantly deflate. Could be due to changes in temperature, but a friend who had this same one last year said she never had that problem. It's a nice size for my 2.5 and five year old and I to all enjoy and if it ever stops raining we will likely do just that.

Its cute and fun. The kids play in it almost daily. It's not that deep, so I don't get paranoid when my almost 3 year old is in it. I think it's safer for the smaller kids then big pools. Parents love it too. It's big enough to sit and relax in. Since it's not a 6ft one, the water is always warm. It doesn't get cold if we had one day of rain or cold weather.

The INTEX pool took a while to get up in our yard because we had to level the ground. Once we did, we placed the ground cloth (from INTEX), which really could be any tarp or ground covering you choose (which should be used to prevent anything scratching the liner on the bottom) and blew up the pool ring with a pump we had from our kids inflatable jumper, and filled the pool. Took about 2 hours to fill the pool with one hose, and we smoothed the bottom liner while filling it. That is a very important step, unless you like sitting or walking on wrinkles in the bottom of a pool. We upgraded the pool filter to the 1000 gal/hr which I think works better than the included pump. We placed the solar cover (INTEX) on for a day and the pool water was almost bath warm. East setup and no troubles!!
