This fitting fit well, was well made and didn't leak. I bought this to replace a defective fitting which came with a solar pool heater I bought from SunHeater.

Converts 1 1/2” macerator from thread to barb
Used to redirect the intake on a Shurflo macerator pump. Well made and heavy duty. Enough barb for two hose clamps. Hard-to-find part that works great!

Did what it's supposed to.
Used it in a waterfall feature with weird pump access. Did what it's supposed to. Didn't break, crack, chip, etc. Had a hard time finding this exact item, but Amazon came through. My waterfall and I thank you.

Excellent for transferring water based polyethylene wax emulsions!
The fitting is used with a Spears 2" NPT coupling and a 6" long X 2" NPT nipple to transfer W-B PWE from a 330 gallon IBC to 6 X 55 gallon blue plastic TH drums. It performs spectacularly! Not a drop was spilled. We will wait and see if the nonylphenol ethoxylate surfactant in the water based polyethylene wax emulsion attacks the PVC.

Perfect Algae Turf Scrubber Pump
This is a quality pump with an inexpensive price. I would be happy to find more items that have this much value for my reef setup. The pump like others have said is super quiet and works very well. I initially bought two incase one broke. Well it has been woking solid for 5 months now without issue.
