Typical Lip scrub nothing too special
I wear lipstick a lot and wanted to try something different for my lips to make them feel better. I tried this one but it’s all the same as the other lip scrubs I’ve tried in the past. Nothing special.

Moisturizing
I used this to take off a ridiculously hard to take off lipstick and it worked. It left my lips feeling silky and smooth. Ingredients were nice though not the best.

It has worked wonders for my chapped lips!
I've only been using this lip scrub for the past few days and if I were judging this on "taste" I probably wouldn't rate it very highly. It just tastes like you're rubbing oil and sugar on your lips, in my opinion. (It definitely doesn't taste bad or anything, but it's just alright.)However, it does seem to work pretty well though, so I can't really deduct points for anything? I've rated it 5 out of 5 because I don't have anything negative to say! Usually if I find one or two things I don't like or that don't function properly in a product, that's why I'll deduct a star but I can't find anything wrong with this lip scrub!I've been exclusively using this lip scrub the past few days too. No lip balm or any other lip products. I've always had severely chapped lips too. My lips are even chapped throughout the summer most of the time!I would always use lip balm, but it just never really seemed to help long term. It would only help for a short period after applying it. This lip scrub though, it just seems to work? I rub it on my lips and you can still feel it for a little while after, but it doesn't feel like lip balm? I'd say it actually feels "lighter" than lip balm. (But also more gritty because of the sugar.)The effect that this scrub has, lasts longer than lip balm but it isn't as strong as lip balm is. I'd say most lip balms seem to protect against dry air better so I'd probably call them "stronger", but they wipe off or wear off quicker than this lip scrub. Since this gets somewhat absorbed into your lips it seems to work better for me personally.I'm going to start using lip balm and this scrub now for the best results. I'm also not saying everyone is going to have the same experience as me either, but since I started using this a few days ago my lips definitely feel softer. It just really works for me personally because it doesn't really "wipe off" of my lips after putting it on!tl;dr - If you normally have issues with lip balm not staying on/working long term or if you just want something that feels a little lighter after applying it/scrubbing/exfoliating with it, I'd definitely recommend giving this a try! It has at least worked for me and kept my lips much softer so I'd recommend it!

Effective lip scrub and balm, pricey
I've never used a lip scrub before, but have used coconut oil to sometimes treat my lips when it starts peeling like today. This feels quite similar, with the addition of what looks like brown sugar as the scrubber, plus other ingredients. It's a tad pricey for me.It tastes like churros, and has the consistency of creamy brown sugar in oil.I applied it liberally, used my fingers to scrub it in, then just wiped it off (and swallowed some, yumm). It left my lips feeling plump (from scrubbing) with a thin layer of coconut scented lip balm. The box said it's also a lip prime, and so far, my lipstain has survived morning coffee and a spaghetti lunch.

Must have for dry cracked lips.
I suffer with very dry cracked lips all the time, chapsticks don't work lipgloss doesn't work they always look bad, until now this lip scrub is a game changer from the first use.Just rub a small amount in circular motions on your lips and rinse off viola you have beautiful lips, it is just that easy.My lips feel so soft and they are literally glowing, best part nothing on them which I love.I absolutely love this product and hope I never have to live without it.I would highly recommend.Thank you for reading my review I hope that it was helpful to you.

Leaves lips feeling good
I tried this before bed and I’m glad I did it then. The lightly course scrub smells ok and has a pleasant flavor. It was able to remove all the dead skin from my lips and left them feeling well hydrated. I’m glad I did this before I went to bed to add extra time to moisturize. I also feel that my lip stain may not have stayed on as well if I’d done it during the day. Gave my lips a slightly tingling but felt good and mad my lips nice and smooth.

My lips feel super soft!
After using this scrub my lips feel super soft. It really exfoliates my lips, and helps removes dried skin from them being chapped. It doesn’t have a very strong scent, but leave your lips feeling like that have chapstick on after washing off.

Delusione
Mi aspettavo un prodotto più gradevole soprattutto un termini di aroma. Generalmente gli scrub labbra contengono aromi come fragola, vaniglia o cocco. Come performance é lo stessa fi di uno scrub fatto in casa con lo zucchero

It really does work!
I’ve had a real problem with my lips over the last 6 months with them almost constantly being chapped and dry, and slathering on lip balm hasn’t really made much of a difference. I then discovered lip scrubs which I’d never heard of and they come in different forms. I have a L’Oréal one which is actually like a lipstick that you apply like a lipstick but it is colourless like a balm and has exfoliating granules in it but I didn’t find it particularly effective either. Then I tried one by Avant which is also a sugar lip scrub and comes in a small tube, this one really does work and has a lovely flavour too.The Facetheory Lipascrub is closer to the Avant but comes in a little pot with a screw top and is more oil based compared to the Avant which is more like a gel in consistency. The Facetheory does work really really well and you just take a small amount on your fingertip and then rub it in over and around the lip surface letting the sugar grains do their work exfoliating the dead, dry stuff away while the avocado and coconut oils soak into the skin underneath softening and hydrating.I think in effectiveness it has the edge over the Avant and it really makes a huge difference to my lips, the only negative is that it doesn’t have any particular flavour or scent to it like the Avant…. But let’s face it, the effectiveness is more important than having a flavour!Hope you’ve found this review helpful ?

Nourishing
I've used a similar lip scrub in the past but I like this one because it more of a lip treatment rather than just a scrub. It arrives in an outer cardboard box and the container is glass with a metal lid so all of it is recyclable. The pot is very full and you only need the smallest amount so even if using it regularly I don't think I'd get through the whole pot within the recommended 6 month usage time. There are the sugar grains to exfoliate which makes it smell quite caramelly and then lots of oils to leave lips nourished. I wouldn't say my lips look plumper after use but they do look a lot healthier than their usual dry state so I'd highly recommend it.
