Dunlop Latex Mattress Topper - Soft - 2" - King

I bought two 2" toppers, one soft and one medium. They're both wonderful. I bought two so I could experiment with what would be most comfortable for me, knowing that I can use both in my home no matter which works best. The soft pad is very soft but not as soft as memory foam. It provides more support than memory foam, too. The medium pad is surprisingly firm for something that seems very soft at first. When I fell asleep on the medium pad I thought it was wonderful but I woke up in the middle of the night unable to get comfortable and ultimately had a sore back in the morning. It's still a wonderful, high-quality latex pad, it just doesn't work as well for me as the soft pad.The pads are a very light cream color, lighter than what shows on-screen. They came in a sturdy box (there were big metal staples used to reinforce the seams and those were a real challenge to work through). The pads were rolled together and covered with plastic sheeting. A lot of it. If you have home projects that require some plastic sheeting, save yourself a trip to the hardware store and just re-use the sheeting that comes free with your new mattress topper. If you have trouble lifting awkward & slippery stuff, I'd recommend ordering pads separately (if you need or want more than one). I'm pretty strong but am also petite and I had a hard time getting the two rolled-together pads through the house. And they were only twin XLs so I'd hate to imagine what larger mattresses would be like. Anyway, plan for a light load or maybe plan for another set of hands to help you get your topper safely into position. They seem like they could tear pretty easily when they're being hoisted and heaved into position.The pads hardly have any smell; there's a very faint nutty smell. They come with the firmness stickers (shown in pic) on them. The seller, Latex Mattress Factory sent them very quickly, well-packaged, well-labeled. I'd happily buy another latex pad from this seller. And probably will!

Slight latex odor but it disappeared after we let it air out a few days. Made an old, cheap mattress in the guest room very comfortable to sleep on. Good quality, shipped fast and well packaged. In my opinion, even the softest version of this type of latex feels a little bit more firm than standard memory foam. Because of the firmness, "soft" isn't too soft for my 200lb spouse who prefers more support.

I am 300pds and my girl is 150. We got the topper in 3" soft to go ontop of our stiff new mattress. I needed more of a stiff mattress for support. Uncomfortable for my girlfriend she wanted the bed softer. This made the bed so very much more comfortable and still allowing me the support of the firm mattress under. Very happy with our purchase.The package arrived fast and when opening to let expand for 24 hours there was no bad smell. Heavier than expected once actually moving around.Stays in place, does not shift on the bed or bunch up like cheaper options.

Lovely true latex, 2" soft mattress topper, however; Sadly, the latex pulled apart under my finger tips into 3, 1" tears as I was placing it on my bed.I had to return it.

It's great. The only thing I would like better is if it had a cover on it. We got the soft and we do have it under a mattress cover and a sheet, so it's definitely covered.
