Broke under stress *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2017* The chuck works well in the forward (right-hand) direction, but the jaws loosen in reverse. This has to do with how the chuck jaws are engaged. The hex shank is threaded and, as it screws in, pushes a round plate that forces the jaws together. When turning in reverse (as in removing a wood screw), the hex shank unscrews rather than the wood screw. Works well if you are just drilling holes.Update: the cone pushed off the chuck while drilling with a 1-1/4" hole saw. Not worth the pennies. It's small size does not allow for adequately tightening the drill bit. I was unable to get a drill bit to drill anything with my dewalt 18v impact driver. 15 years as a carpenter dont waste your time with this piece of junk.
