SUMMERBUDDY Above Ground Pool Parts Kit, Split Plunger Valve and Adapters

We got a secondhand pool, and I guess their dogs got a hold of these pieces. I looked all over for these pieces, found these and they fit perfectly. There is a little bit of a difference, compared to the old parts, they’re a little bit looser. So you just have to manually push in the pieces instead of it just clicking with ease. But I had no issue with that as I know it would stay. You can’t even tell It’s not the original pieces, it looks exactly the same.

Bought a new pool but wanted to connect to my sand filter. These worked great.

Just what we needed for parts replacement. Would recommend. Above ground pool intex/ Coleman.

Sturdy and holds the hoses great

Worked perfectly for swapping out the useless pump they give you with pool, instead I swapped out the hoses to accommodate a bigger pump. Perfect

On the inlet valve the plastic nut seems light weight and doesn’t securely fit. When I tried to tighten is down it would pop and not allow for a tight seal. The dog bumped into it (not hard) and it came off with water going everywhere.

I rarely give such negative reviews but none of it functions as it should. The inlet is slightly larger with damaged threads. So the pool hold needed to be enlarged. No seals accompanying the valves other than o rings that were too large for slide on hoses. As others mentioned, the two part screw fitting will not tighten without a clamp giving pressure and extra thread seal that should not be needed on an o-ring style seal. If I hadn’t destroyed my old set to get them off after many good years and no leaks. I would absolutely have sent these back but I was forced to make them work. The threads for the hoses were not even made correctly and also required my own seals to put on, but also tools to tighten as the die that made the threads seems to have had debris in it when it formed them. Steer clear……
