Perfect for betta
I've fed my betta this food for years - my last fish lived for over 6 years and he was from PetSmart. His scales were vibrant and energy high until the very end. My new betta (Ramses Rosetail the fifth) is thriving on this food as well. This pellet is perfect. Completely healthy, my fish seem to enjoy the taste, and the small size is perfect for their teeny tiny litle mouths. It does sink pretty quickly, so you need to put only a few pellets in the water at a time so your fish can eat them before it sinks, but overall this is the perfect betta pellet.

High quality protein for bettas
This has quickly become my favorite food for my bettas. The ingredients are high quality and focused on protein, which is exactly what bettas need as carnivores. I have noticed brighter colors, better activity, and healthier fins since switching to this brand. The pellets are a good size for most bettas and they do not cloud the water or leave a mess behind. My fish go crazy for it every time I feed it. It feels good knowing I am giving them something that supports their long term health instead of a filler based food. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their bettaโs diet.

Great product, floats
I was worried because I heard they don't float but they do for me. Good ingredients and great value with a TON of food. If you go to a mainstream pet store you'll pay the same price for 1/4 the amount for brands without as good ingredients. Dante, my Betta, loves these. He's always eager and eats them within 10 seconds. They float until that point and I haven't had 1 sink yet. They're very pungent and I think that helps the fish locate them when they drop. If I drop it in the tank behind him, he immediately knows where it is even without having seen it. They're pretty small so you can feed them 3-5 pellets per meal but Dante is always dancing trying to get my attention for more. I've been feeding 3 pellets 3 times a day or 4 or 5 pellets twice a day and that seems to be working fine with no bloating. He's still very active with plenty of bubbles. I'll serve these 2 days in a row then blood worms the 3rd day. I have 1 fasting day bi-weekly.

Good food, fi
I like this food, my Beta loves it too. Sinks pretty quick but that's ok, I don't think the floating pellets are good for them because the air in them ends up getting trapped in the fish stomach and can cause swim bladder disease.

Pictures donโt do the justice
The food great. Our little Comet (his name) loves it so much that he swims towards people in hopes heโll get fed. I like to point out that the coloration of his fins and his body has popped out so much since starting this food a week ago! The reason I didnโt give it a full 5 stars is because it does sink too quickly so in order to keep the tank clean I have to feed him one at a time.

High quality and my Betta loves them!
I found out about Betta Bits through a Betta fish care video I watched on YouTube. These were highly recommended by a Betta enthusiast so I decided to look into them. The ingredients have minimal filler and high protein content, and you can tell by the smell that itโs decent quality. I rotate between these and the Fluval Bug Bites (Betta formula). I feed Betta Bits most of the time. The size is small enough so that my Betta can easily eat them and I only feed 4-5 pellets a day, and skip feeding once a week. My Betta hasnโt been a picky eater at all-he just comes right up to the top of his tank and scarfs down whatever food I feed him. Most of the time the Betta bits float at the top. I only feed one at a time to prevent any from sinking. My fish is really good at diving down to immediately eat a pellet if it sinks, but they hardly ever do. I keep him in a 5 gallon filtered tank, and with his diet, he is very active and healthy. Heโs a Bumble Bee Betta (black body with gold/yellow tail with black trim, and yellow front fins) and his colors are vibrant. Since I only have one Betta and feed only a few pellets in a day, these will last a long time to come. Iโd recommend going for the smaller sized bag unless you have multiple Betta tanks. I will definitely repurchase once I run out, which wonโt be for a while.

Small and sink fast
Theyโre tiny so theyโre hard to grab a small amount of. Even if just pinching with two fingers, youโll end up with a bunch on your hands. I also donโt like that they sink really fast. My bettas get distracted by the few floating ones and donโt even notice the ones that sink. They do seem to like them though.

Excellent for Betta fish
Bought this product after reading several forums about the best food for Bettas. Totally worth it. Having tried different kinds of betta food - flakes (Omega One), freeze dried bloodworms (Omega One) and other pellets (Aqueon), Iโve found that my fish prefers these pellets the most. Aqueon's pellets are much larger in size (2-3mm diameter) and my fish always had trouble eating them - often they'd pop out of his mouth, and heโd struggle to gulp them down. These Northfin ones are the exact right size. You can see the size difference in the attached pictures. I feed my betta 6-10 tiny pellets daily, and he loves it. Just be aware that these sink faster than some of the other products on the market (this is a good thing - it means less โfillerโ in the food) and so you may want to drop in a few pellets at a time, especially if you have gravel on the bottom of your tank and want to avoid frequent cleanings.

Great food for Betta fish
Great item. Huge bag. Was not expecting it to be as big as it is. Great quality ingredients and value for money when the Betta only need a couple of pieces per meal. Good colour and ingredients will hopefully keep my Betta healthy alongside its frozen foods too.

If you are only feeding pellets these have the lot, great formula, brings out the best in the fish, and they love them. Highly Recommended.

Betta loves them
I like how easy it is to divide the perfect amount for the betta's needs. Yes, they don't float and sink fast if not eaten right away. But we give our betta one pellet at a time and he snatches them up before they sink to the bottom. And even if misses them, he usually finds them later. His colours also developed nicely. They are a great small size for a younger betta. We give 4 pellets at every mealtime. The amount of pellets you get in the bag is more than enough. We read that you should discard any food that's older than 6 months. I don't think we'll make it through the whole bag in 6 months. Excellent value.
