Bought this for the summer and it was quite fun.The balls are not too light which means they don't get too easily blown in the wind, which is important in the UK!The shuttles were a different matter but they aren't too bad either.The bats are made reasonably well with comfy grips and nice to have 4 and lots of different balls (guaranteed to get lost, right!)These wouldn't be suitable for kids younger than 6 or 7 I think as the ball travels quite fast.hope that helps.

Super little set which is fun and easy to pick up.The birdies are awesome for hitting high and slow and if the wind picks up you can swap to the balls which are similar to squash balls in weight and consistency making them perfect for windy beaches.At first glance it feels expensive but the quality is very good and feels like they’ll last. As I always say, you get what you pay for!

It's compact and sturdy for an entertainment at beach or garden party with friends. Compatible for kids as well as adults use.

We took these to Mexico and thank goodness we did as things were so expensive. Great product, fun in the pool, just a shame we are rubbish at playing it.

Slightly smaller than the usual beach bats but have survived a couple days of heavy use at the beach so more robust than some I have used. I found the orange ball against the orange bat also slightly difficult but that's probably just my ageing eyesight!
