It’s good quality plastic and sturdy .edges of the mouth sometimes can be sharp but so far not had an issue .However on prolonged use it does get stained and needs to be replaced every 4 to 5 months .though if u can wash and clean it and scrub it with a bottle brush it will be as good as new
