Womens Kiwi Pro Trousers

I have had a few pairs of the Kiwi pro stretch simply because they are very comfortable and light weight.However this is the second pair I have owned where the zip on one or both of the pockets fails to zip up properly. They zip up when you haven’t got the trousers on but as soon as you have them on it becomes almost impossible to zip the pockets up, it seems that the zip appears to become slightly deformed upon wearing them. I can still give them 4/5 as they are extremely comfortable and are great value for money.

I bought these Craghopper lightweight hiking trousers to replace the ones I’ve had for a while. I prefer the old style pocket zips which are more stylish and look better than these ones. I have found a few flaws in these trousers, so beware, you may be getting “seconds”, hence the price..

I purchased 3 pairs of Craghoppers Women's Kiwi Pro Trousers at the same time from Amazon. One pair in black, one in green and one in dark navy. They are exactly the same size (16R) and in theory exactly the same trousers. On receipt of these trousers however, I realised they are definitely not the same fit. I would judge the navy trousers are at least 1" smaller in all measurements (waist, leg circumference, crotch) to the other two pairs (see photos for comparison of black and navy pair). I've bought many many, many pairs of these trousers over the years and they are normally a great fit but the navy ones I can barely pull up! The only difference I can see between these trousers is the pair that is too small (the navy pair) has a green hanging loop and a 'Mindfully made' tag inside while the black and green pairs do not. I can only assume that either the navy pair were produced more recently and pursuit of sustainability Craghoppers have changed manufacturers? Anyway whatever the reason, these 'mindfully made' variant seem to be a much much tighter fit. Yes, cutting them closer to the leg automatically saves fabric and makes them more 'sustainable' but some of us still have bigger legs that they need to cover! It seems to be luck of the draw which type you get sent. This product was one of the few walking trousers that worked for us curvier ladies so I've got everything crossed that this was just a labelling error but unfortunately it might be a sign of tighter trousers to come.

I got the grey one, size 8 and it fits perfectly. Love it!

I love these trousers, smart, comfy and not baggy like a lot of others.
